I'm sure her next era will be something incredibly different from Born This Way, and so will the era after that. Hm. I sort of disagree. So far, her growth has been very linear. She's just gotten gayer, more eccentric and more political. Her sound has become simultaneously more dance-influenced and more retro (rock-and-roll), but those '70s/'80s vibes have been there since the beginning--they're just more pronounced now. She has basically given us more of everything with each era, but she has not shocked us with a real musical shift just yet. TFM is perfectly in between TF and BTW in its content.

I agree with what you're saying, but to the average listener the sound of each album is very different.

Ill comment on the Monroe like essay()

I love Gaga for this album, this is exactly what I wanted. A little twisted and demented but to the point, the point being "I'm not here to color inside the lines, I'm here to make mistakes and create some next level ****". I understand that the poster(Nicole) doesn't like the direction Lady Gaga is heading towards, it happens, if we all had the same taste the world as it is now would never exist.

Lady Gaga for me, pushes boudries with this album, sometimes pushing the subject a little too much(accept yourself ****), and honestly can be a little overwhelming. Thats about the only gripe I have with it to be honest. I respect the posters opinions and bravery.

@Foxay Rainbows is one of the "bestest" Gaga stans <3 But I aint going to worship noone but Gaga herself
