I can imagine Britney releasing an album like 4 with almost no uptempos and then she wouldn't obviously dance and then fans would die because she wouldnt dance because omg omg britney cant dance anymore.
Britney Spears is pop. If Britney changed genres it's like pop turned into rock or hip hop.
The farthest she will go will be Blackout. She will always be the pop culture that she is.
She might not have been going out of the box but she sets trends. She sets trends slowly.
In The Zone was way ahead of it's time. She could still release that album today and **** on those
other artists.
I don't understand why you don't reference her as an artist. She redefined pop music thrice.
Baby One More Time, In The Zone and Blackout. Now dubstep is really growing on Mainstream. I'm not saying that she's the first one to use dubstep but she's the first one to take a risk releasing a dubstep track (light dubstep though) She's not redefining her whole look but she's redefining pop culture...
