Besides these two, I can only thinking of Alex Clare's "Too Close" and Nick Jonas' "Jealous" that peaked at #7 and both spent 10 weeks in the top 10.

This is definitely interesting! I can't think of any other #7 peaking song to spend more than 10 weeks in the top 10 besides these four.

Also, are there any songs that peaked at #8-10 that have spent 10+ weeks in the top 10? I know Meghan Trainor and John Legend recently did it with "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" peaking at #8 and spending 10 weeks in the top 10. Also, The Black Eyed Peas came close with "Where Is The Love?" which peaked at #8 and spent 9 weeks in the top tier.

And hmm interesting that you have Closer that high don't see that at all, but important thing is that it will stay in the top 10. Will certainly get a way higher peak later on.

"Closer" is projected to increase 8M the WW Views on YouTube, which is a huge gain, and they're not that worldwide. But who knows with Streaming. Just paid attention and the song really has a chance to top the US. I mean, why not? There's no official music video and the Lyric Video is already doing better than the DLMD mv (which is huge already).
