1) Adele ( the one that demolish/outsold everyone on that list with just one album) The queen of music
2) Queen Rihanna. no explanation needed.
3) Beyoncé. even though she mostly R&B artist, but she is the only person on this list aside from taylor swift still selling million WW in matter of days.
5) tie between pink and katy perry. Pink got couple hits and her last album sold 5 milliom +
7)taylor swift
8) lady gaga. she use to be on top, but with this flop era she's lucky to be on this list.

You have a point tbh: the other girls need to sell millions more albums to ever compare to Madonna's success because her tours are so massive.

It's not just sales and tours, it's cultural impact. Everyone knows Madonna. She is referenced in films, music, TV shows, fashion, art, academia, etc constantly over 30 years.

Yeah, Taylor is outselling all those artists sans Adele. #8 is a bit too low for someone who's released 4 albums and none of them sold less than 5.5 million WW.

Pink is a non factor in Asia, Africa and South America where Katy has relevance, so i would place Katy above Pink.

Deal. We won't act like Beyonce didn't have exposure from DC if you don't act like the exposure from DC guaranteed her a successful solo career. You may say, "Well she was the lead singer. All the focus was on her! Of course the fans would carry over." but you may soon regret that as that would imply that we should group DC and Beyonce statistics into one.
