As promised here’s the next update though it’s a quicker update. I don’t have the time to respond to some comments yet but I will! lol Continuing the Top 150 TV Shows here are 90-81. In this batch I’ve got 5 dramas, 2 competition, 1 talk show, 1 sketch show and 1 comedy.
The Top 150 TV Shows: 90-81
90) “True Blood” HBO
Last Year: 42
Strange start, great finish to this season. Wrapped up a lot of the ongoing storylines and everything is more straightforward rather than 10 different things going on at the same time. Hopefully the final season will be good too!
89) “American Horror Story: Coven” FX
Last Year: 77
Every year my biggest complaint is storylines never get wrapped up and are forgotten for the sake of “going there” shock or an obvious liking of an actress or storyline more so than the others. But its still entertaining. And I haven’t watched the last episode yet so shhh.
88) “Chopped” Food Network
Love this cooking competition. I love seeing foods that I’ve never heard of or seen before and see how chefs react to having to use only a certain amount of mandatory ingredients. Never ceases to entertain me
87) “Saturday Night Live” NBC
Last Year: 80
Some weeks are good, some are bad. Some sketches are better than others. Weekend Update is also inconsistent. But I love watching this show every week and when they do it really well, it’s awesome. Recent highlight: The Fox parody “What Does My Girl Say”
86) “Talking Dead/Talking Bad” AMC
These talk shows after The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad were perfect to help ease us back into reality after some jaw dropping cliffhangers at the end of most episodes. Guests discuss what happened, calls and questions are asked, and theories are discussed. And Chris Hardwick is awesome.
85) “Go On” NBC
Last Year: 49
This show unfortunately didn’t make it past season 1 but it was a funny look at a rather sad idea of a support group for those who suffered tragedies. The characters were great and the storylines had a lot of heart to them.
84) “Cutthroat Kitchen” Food Network
Food Networks newest competition show where chefs pay money in auctions to sabotage other chefs during the cooking rounds. Examples include you can’t use knives, you have to use a microwave for all your cooking, you must cook with sink gloves or giving someone spice flavor jellybeans as their only source of spices.
83) “Misfits” E4
Last Year: 48
The final season of this strange and quirky superpower show was satisfying. After 5 years and a lot of revolving cast changes, it ended at the right spot and of course spared no expensive to try and shock and push boundaries even further (ie the power to fukc powers out of another person)
82) “Hell On Wheels” AMC
Last Year: 74
The period drama Hell On Wheels had a sort of reboot this season after killing off characters, making some characters leave the rest, and move beyond just working on the railroad. Next season will be even more different with the main character not even with the rest of the group anymore due to him getting married or getting killed. Yay trains.
81) “Falling Skies” TNT
Last Year: 76
This summer sci-fi alien drama was back for another great season. It’s the perfect summer show where it’s not too heavy or serious and you can just watch for the fun value of it all. The story was different than past seasons because of the main group finding a safe spot of sorts so the biggest tensions were within the group and not necessarily from the outside alien invading forces. And do they trust the newest alien as an ally or an enemy.

Like I said last time, I will be away and won’t be able to update until I return on Sunday night. So at some point, the Top 150 TV Shows: 80-71 will be up next!
