If one of her Little Monstruos becomes a cocaine addict because of this stupid tweet then they're dumb ****s and were going to end up ****ed anyway. thread/.
Clearly it's a joke...some of y'all are doing the most
We just wanted to point out that Gaga is ALWAYS the bad role model and the bad idol and she's always always always wrong, but if others do the same/worse things, they get away with it.
Except, she never laughed about suicide and the fact that she can joke about her cocaine usage shows that she has moved on from it and it's a good thing.
She better get those headlines.
I didn't see anyone complaining when Ke$ha joked about it. Is this yet another double standard?
Oh please. People were BASHING Rihanna just for rolling up a blunt on someone's head on Coachella.
Either way, it's not even a big deal and it's just a joke.
So just because you happen to know all about Gaga's past (which most people who aren't little monsters don't) and you classify ir as a "joke" I'm not allowed to read into it?
Since when is everything okay for anyone to say as long as it's a joke? What if Lady gaga made a racist joke? would THAT not be offensive because she's joking? obviously that's an extreme example, but isn't there a line that can be crossed?
Step away from your delusional love of everything she does and realize the way this tweet sounds to someone who isn't you.
I see Lana Del Rey in your sig shall we talk about how she sings about drugs in her lyrics?

But sis, this is exactly it. People who will read this tweet and be "influenced" by it are FANS. Fans would read the tweet exactly like I did. People like you (Who aren't serious fans) wouldn't even see this tweet, period. Guess what, not everyone goes on ATRL.
Now, if perchance they saw it, then logic tells us they won't take it seriously, as they are not fans of Gaga and therefore they are not influenced by her whatsoever.
Do you see what I'm saying? Those who this tweet affects already know it isn't serious, and the only people bothered are people who really shouldn't even care.
She confirmed in her Oprah interview that she does cocaine/drugs when she wants a creative release. I don't care if she didn't say the word - it was confirmed.
People need to lighten up a little. Lady Gaga is not a role model for good behaviour, she's a crazy pop star with no history of putting a filter on what she says and does. The rule of thumb for people who don't can't seem to understand:
Don't look at Lady Gaga's Twitter page. One day she'll tweet about eating an apple over a brownie for snack #iwantedthebrownie and you'll get offended over her neglect of the obese and overweight community.
When you see "Lady Gaga" and "Tweet" and/or "Twitter" in a topic title, do everybody a favour and stay away, because you're actually only hurting yourself. Nobody else actually feels sorry about how offended you are or how inappropriate you think her tweet was. I mean, I think it's kind of funny but that's pretty much it.
And Lady Gaga will be sitting in a bathtub full of millions, laughing at the meltdowns and influence, selling out her concerts around the world. Because real people can take a joke and her career won't suffer. At all. Lol.
Oh please. People were BASHING Rihanna just for rolling up a blunt on someone's head on Coachella.
What do you mean "just"? So Rihanna posts up a picture of her partaking in illegal activity, but yet this is 100% okay because it's "just weed". And yet Gaga tweeting a ****ing CLEAR JOKE about cocaine and somehow that's worse?
A bit too much Gaga. It's like those scenes in movies when people are joking about something but then someone goes way too far with the joke, and there's an awkward silence.
But there's no awkward silence. Eight pages of this thread already, two different threads, and thousands of faves and retweets.
