but in terms of overall celebrity/familiarity, if i mention britney spears to someone my age (16) they would be able to sing me a handful of her solo hits.

1. S&S and FTM were out around the same time. Just accept S&S did considerably better.
2. Both of those songs were major flops. Work B**ch is a bigger hit than the two of them combined.
3. No she wouldn't. She only got 70k last year with major promo on shows like The Voice, etc. If she can't break 100k when she's the only mainstream act releasing, then why would she do it against a bigger mainstream act.
4. No, the fact that her album sold 219k WW first week makes her bigger.
5. 6 shows have sold out so far.

Britney is gearing up for her shows (something Xtina hasn't done in a while) while Xtina just wonders around looking for features.
