"Like A Prayer" came close, but it didn't QUITE make it. Yet.
That is fine.
I was debating including Frozen and Like a Prayer, but something in the back of my head told me not to. I dunno what it was, so I went with her best dance song, Into the Groove, and an underrated classic, Justify My Love.
I was really trying hard not to be too poppy though. Otherwise you would have gotten a list with tons of 90s dancepop.

Eh, I wouldn't have minded. 90's dancepop was almost universally awesome.

Finally I made may top 20 list (added 2 songs that wasn't in original top 30), no artist made list twice .
Included some songs that most probably will not be in many lists, but they are still my favorites:
Only one song from my favorite band made list. Thank god Muse released their second album in 2001.

Herion is not my favorite from The Velvet Underground, and i also prefer My Way from Frank Sinatra.
It was really tough deciding on a Velvet Underground song. I was also considering "Femme Fatale", "Waiting For the Man", "Venus In Furs" and "Pale Blue Eyes".

Seems I'm the only who loves "Sunday Morning" the most, with "Femme Fatale", "Waiting For the Man", "Venus In Furs" close second. But that song introduced me to this group so i may be biased.

How could I forget "Sunday Morning"? I listen to it every Sunday morning (and today's Sunday)
So basically The Velvet Underground & Nico is one of the best albums of all time.
As for instrumentals, I put Miles Davis on my list (he should be on yours, too!) There are a lot of beautiful compositions from the 21st century, but I'd be here days if I sifted through those as well

Then it's good and yes, that is one amazing album.
Listening to Lou Reed - Perfect Day right now, so sad this masterpiece didn't made my list.
