If worshiping a fraud, someone who is making fun of people by lip synching throughout her whole career, and not even trying to give them a decent performance, someone who is always portrayed as talentless, someone who people see as a joke, someone who is unable to stay in tune hence why they need to use tons of auto tune in studio recordings, someone who seems to have no passion about music means I haven't seen the light (what a cliché phrase) then I am happy in the dark side. Dark side meaning I have standards Britney does not suffice and will never suffice, I have self respect for not admiring someone who has nothing worthy to be admired and is just a fraud, that I prefer people who are actually talented and can offer me a decent performance with not just distracting stuff such as backup dancers and screens, but can actually entertain me with her own talent. People that don't need to look good on paper with albums sales from a decade ago and all that stuff, because they can look good enough and get praised by critics, media and GP using just a microphone.
Keep in mind this is about Britney the "artist" since I haven't had the pleasure to meet Britney the person and surely I won't, neither I want. So everything written above is just my opinion, you clearly will disagree with it, and that's fine. But yeah, I am very happy to be in the dark side.

Let me start with Britney. One would think, when she's supposedly so successful and so influential like their stans like to claim, they wouldn't worry about someone who according to them is so inferior. But the thing is Xtina is not inferior at all. Britney lacks talent, that's why she's always been mocked about being a lip synching fraud her whole damn career, she will ALWAYS be seen as a joke as an untalented person. It's not a coincidence media, critics and GP in general use her as the first and perfect example when they talk about how music industry has become a joke when people like her are more successful (commercially wise) than people with real talent and abilities like Xtina. I guess it hurts them, when someone they admire so much (God knows for what reason) has been panned for her entire career and is basically seen as the face of talentless acts. Yes, she has sold 100 million albums. Amazing, good for her. But the funny thing is legends and icons from the past are not remembered for how many albums they sold, so the thing you cling so much for making Britney so special won't really help once she gets old. "Yeah, she lip synchs all the time but who cares? BOMT sold 25 million". I guess that makes up for her being ridiculed for being talentless in comparison with her peers such as Pink, Beyoncé and Xtina. Her dancing skills? They weren't even that great, specially when you compare her with acts that are far more talented than her even at dancing, which is supposedly her greatest and strongest, or should I say her only talent? Janet, Ciara, Beyoncé and Nicole all make her look like a joke. So what do you really have to back her up? Oh, yes. Albums sales. If you all supposedly already won the war? (What kind of nonsense, what a sad situation) then why is Xtina constantly on your minds? It concerns me that people almost in their 30s showcase hatred and such obsession towards a woman that doesn't even know about your existence and you will never get to meet personally to make a fair judgment about her. As I said, SAD situation.
Beyoncé. I used to think she was irrelevant and a non-factor global wise but she's proved me wrong with her recent tour and album. I admire her dedication, and she's an extremely talented girl, she indeed deserves all her success. But I can't stand her fan base, that's my only problem with "her". They want everyone too see her as the human form for perfection, if you don't they are extremely aggressive towards you. They just don't seem to understand it's a matter of preference, you might think your lady is the best but that doesn't make it a fact. Same applies this time, you're getting the praise, the commercial success, so why would, someone inferior in your eyes (Xtina), bother you so much? We're not saying Xtina's a better technique or is a better vocalist than Beyoncé, all we're saying is people, media, critics and GP identify Xtina as the voice of the (her) generation. That doesn't mean Beyoncé is less of a singer, or a less of whatever the hell she's in your head. Stop being so aggressive and cocky. It's her success, not yours. Your life won't get any better just because Beyoncé is getting sold out stadiums or is selling 3 million in 3 months.
Mariah. I have never tried to discredit her, all I've been saying my whole life is her success is strongly US based, and since most of the people in here and her fans are from the US they fume whenever someone tells them that. She is one of the best vocalist we've had in pop music, she's been influential, yes. She's in a critical condition vocally and comercial wise as of now, YES! So more than anyone else you should understand Xtina's situation. God knows what happened between these two, but again you let the situation between them get personal to you when it's none of your business at all. Mariah's also known as a bitch, so you're kind of trapped since every single thing people use to discredit Xtina applies to your fave as well.
Pink. Mad talented lady, while I've had a hard time getting into her discography I've enjoyed a couple of songs. She's outspoken and she's let us know what she thinks about Xtina multiple times, she comes off as bitter? Maybe. But I don't let it go personal. It's the same story between Xtina-Pink stans, each side always say the other side is pressed and constantly hating on the other girl. So boring. They both do it, one of the ladies have been mature enough to let a +decade old incident go, the other one not so much and her stans like to copy this behavior. Same escenario, if your fave is currently enjoying such a successful momentum why do you bother so much with Xtina?
Avril. I won't even bother with these ones. Your fave is in a worst escenario than Xtina, so you shouldn't even talk about ****, yet you're always present in Xtina threads and you can't even say the same about us and Avril cause her threads rarely reach second page. That's it.

Except as a musician that's pretty much all you need. It's sad we live in a culture where we value chart success over talent and accolades, both of which Xtina has more than Britney. The reason Britney fans cling to her chart success is because that's all Britney has achieved. She's not a naturally gifted singer, songwriter, she doesn't play any instruments. She's won ONE Grammy in her entire 15+ year career, she's never invited to prestigious events like Oscars or Grammys or Golden Globes (hence why she only attends the parties). Her name holds little weight, because when you start mass producing perfumes in drugstores and model for Kohl's, your star power loses prestige.
Point being, for the past 10 years, Britney has been the Walmart to Xtina's Whole Foods. Making more money than someone else doesn't prove your worth as an artist. While Xtina wins multiple prestigious awards, gets nominated for Golden Globes, earns humanitarian awards, earns Voice of a Generation awards, gets honored by Time magazine as one of the most influential people alive, Britney... sells singles she lends her vocals to as a chore while providing little to no contribution to the lyrics or much else.
And by your logic, do we also need to have our own Platinum albums to criticize other artists achievements? You make no sense. How is it not fair to knock someone's "achievements" when those "achievements" are something as frivolous as chart success and sales? When comparing 2 actresses like Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie on who the stronger actor is, no one says "Oh but Aniston is better because despite Jolie being more talented, her movies made more money!!"

50% of Mariahs sales are from outside the US though. And Mariahs worldwide sales are bigger than Britneys and completely destroy Xtinas. That is fact.
Now, do you want me to post the WIkipedia stats on Xtinas singles performances WORLDWIDE starting from January 2007? Not that the earlier part was that impressive, but you know.

oh honey. She was called that a few times to hype a tv show she was performing on. Lbr not only do the public not 'idenity' her as the voice... they dont even identify or acknowledge her in ANY way. When was the last time she had press outside of the USA? 2006? the GP dont check her, they dont use her, they barely acknowledge she exists.
If the term 'all publicity is good publicity is true' then Xtina should be worrying that she hasnt been even once ever a trending topic and Twitter has been around awhile.

This. Plenty of artists under-perform / flop but they still do the best that they can with their eras. She seems to have lost all drive since Bionic tanked.

trended? must have missed that quick minute of almost relevancy. Lbr nobody has ever cared for her as a celebrity/persona. Her vocal is the only thing she is credited for and even then nobody cares enough to ever buy her music.
I find it hilarious that 15 years after Britney overshadowed her debut, Beyonce overshadowed her sophomore, and her subsequent albums continued to regress in sales and artistry, that her fans still consider her some A-list star, as if by arguing enough about it on the Internet it might eventually happen. There really are more productive things you could be doing than worrying about some washed up b-grade pop singer from the late 90s/early 00s.

So much truth in this post
Xtina is the definition of the B-list reality show star, if not C-list. I mean she will do a free concert in Malaysia late this month, which Demi was the big headliner last year
