I'm sure if I've heard the songs more than a few times I'd hate them but god damn, Opposites Attract and Straight up are so damn catchy. Even a no-name rapper sampled Straight Up, that's how catchy it is.

I don't know if it's the fact that I didn't live during her peak, but why do I get the impression that she was a Ke$ha/Katy hybrid of her time? I can only describe this album as a generic 80s stan's crack.

I really didn't expect to be so "meh" about so many LAP tracks after re-listening to them. Oh well, I think I've just overplayed it.
I just finished listening to Paula's album, now I'm on Madonna. I don't like this version of "Like A Prayer" it gets a little too corny in certain parts. I don't like her vocals on "Express Yourself" except for on the chorus
Rhythm Nation is the most "serious" out of the 3 albums but it also has it's fluffy pop moments like "Escapade," "Love Will Never Do," and "Miss You Much"
