I dont think ADELE should be on the list given on first page. I mean shes quite overrated now. She got a beautiful voice but just VOICE. She doesnt have vocal skills like the rest, same as Amy. Leona should be included instead.

I agree with the posts above.

I will say Christina and Celine Dion. Some people actually think Celine is better than Whitney when she is a bad vocalist. But both women have amazing voices, they should just hit the right notes, strain less, and no nasal singing (Celine).

For example: If there are 100 Beyonce stans and only 20 Xtiina stans then of course the majority are going to agree that Beyonce is the better vocalist.

You really can't judge who is the better vocalist when you just have biased people voting. I don't really care who the better vocalist, I enjoy both Christina & Beyonce but I do perfer Christina and that is just my opinion.

if this was a poll about who's the better singer instead of a discussion thread, Christina would be winning.
There have been many polls of Beyonce vs Xtina where Xtina leads, whether it's in vocals or which album is better between "4" & "Bionic."

Adele - Has great control over her voice. In the days of 19 that would be a different story though.
Beyonce - Also has great control over voice and knows her own range. She seems a bit showoffy sometimes, but she has reasons to be.
Celine Dion - Has control, but lacks some striking conviction and emotion that the others have.
Christina A - Has little to no control over her voice and does not know her own range.
Kelly Clarkson - Isn't a very strong vocalist.
Mariah Carey - Voice has gotten weaker with age. It's something she needs to work on. She needs to learn how to control her voice with a more limited range.
Jennifer Hudson - Has a strong, convicting voice. Doesn't necessarily have the best control, but it's better than some others on the list.
Whitney Houston - Has utterly destroyed her voice after drug addiction. A true shame since she could have still had the voice she once had.

Effie is an iconic/legendary role (Jennifer Holliday won a Tony for it). Jennifer was obviously meant to be the standout. Beyonce's name was used to sell tickets.

This does not make any sense. Amy and Adele both have vocal skills because they have the ability to do many things with their voice such as vocal riffs, head voice, scatting (amy), vocal runs, etc. Their vocal skills are underrated. If they just had a voice they would be bland on their records, they have incredible control and know how to make their voices do certain things.
