I clearly said that I understood that gaga has listed Madonna as one of her influences. I mean it's obvious just look at her.
My thing is that sometimes gaga denys madonnas influence more than she should. I know Gaga didn't copy EY intentionally. My arguments isn't even about that song the both are no good in my book.

I don't think Gaga "rips off" anything. I think she makes clear references to other things (and with the case of Born This Way, I think it's clearly Gaga showing the "real" her, making music that she likes because it's so chock-filled with references to all the artists that she's been a fan of since childhood).

If anything, because of the fans, Gaga has become soft. I don't think she's manipulating her fans at all. I think she's too busy trying to please those suicidal monsters to the point that she's lost focus of her own career.

the people i'm working with in the music business, everybody is telling me that gaga is taking herself to serious, she thinks she's bigger as she actual is. i like her music but i can't wait for that day all is over and the monsters are going crazy.

I disagree.
She is a business woman after all. Just because she had 1 fumble doesn't mean she cannot come back from it. I mean Rihanna had Rated R, Britney had the Britney or Blackout era (in terms of the radio ban and the meltdown), and then there's Madonna's Erotica.
I don't think we can make a realistic conjecture about Gaga's career until we see the results of her next album.

Of course Madonna wouldn't say something like that. Gaga is very impulsive and does things on a whim. So, that's going against her.

I see your point! I dont think gaga copied EY or riped off anything intentionally I don't even like either song. I never listen to Born this way or EY.
Her image however is very Madonna though. At least this era. Her fashion was on point durin the fame.
