How can anyone hate those harmonies on the chorus of "Final Heartbreak"?! Inconceivable.

#41: A single?! Already?!
We've reached our first single to leave.

"From the Bottom of My Broken Heart"
AVG: 5.66
Highest score: 8 [Passion4MyMusic, ClassicMainstream & supaspaz]
Lowest score: 1 [Strangergab]
See, what did I say? Britney + ballads = not a good sign... ever!!! But, aside from Britney's bad luck with ballads (the list can go on...), this one is not as bad as "E-Mail" <------. In fact, it's one of the most cutesy, yet solemn ballads from this girl to date. I mean, sure there's more corn in this song than in Smallville, but it's actually a good type of corn. This song's one of those "could've been Diane Warren" songs, so it gets a big up for me. But, it's still cornier than a scarecrow's straw hair after a tornado, y'all...
My score: 7.

This is the first single to leave? Before "Reflection" and "Where You Are"? A damn mess, ATRL.

My rating for Soda Pop was probably a bit harsh, but it revolted me upon first listen.
I just wasn't here for that Baha Men inspired trash

I don't think I really liked any of the songs elminated so far. I Can, I Will wasn't so bad, but anything else isn't my cup of tea.
Does "tomorrow" mean today since you posted at 1 in the morning (for me)

#40-37: Altogether, now...
Finally, all four girls are in a jam together...

"I Like It"
AVG: 5.74
Highest score: 9 [Passion4MyMusic]
Lowest score: 1 [Kool_Aid_King]
I ain't gonna lie: I like it. I really like it. I don't love it, but I really like it. I really love it when artists of now go disco, and this is somewhat of a "photoshoot meets roller rink" kind of song. Sure, it's somewhat slow for Mandy, moore or less (haha, puns...), but it's not a bad listen.
My score: 7.
"Thinkin' About You"
AVG: 5.83
Highest score: 8 [Passion4MyMusic & Rolland]
Lowest score: 2 [ClassicMainstream]
It's campy. It's groove-able. The hook is addictive. So why is this not higher? Probably because it's very forgettable. Seriously, I almost forgot about this song when I was going through the entire album. I remembered I did like it when I was a kid, but I've grown apart from it. Still, it's a song you can sing with your friends when it comes on, 'cause that hook is pretty addictive.
My score: 7.
"Your Faith in Me"
AVG: 5.84
Highest score: 9 [Passion4MyMusic]
Lowest score: 1 [madonnas]
Okay, I've been ragging on Jessica's ballads, how their corny and have those annoying key changes, but this all changes in this song. This song actually feels like it needs the corny, like it needs the key changes. And, OMG, can we talk about how this girl pretty much rivals Mariah in vocal strength? (Of course she won't reach the Mariah pinnacle, but...) I swear, the last 90 seconds are pretty much the best part in any of Jessica's songs. I'm upset this was appreciated enough, but I blame the other lackluster ballads that surround this amazing song. Trust me, you need to listen to this song alone. No build up, just play it first and listen to it and you'll understand how this is the pinnacle of Jessica's album.
My score: 9.
"When You Put Your Hands on Me"
AVG: 5.85
Highest score: 8 [Luigi, supaspaz & madonnas]
Lowest score: 2 [mariah.]
It's campy. It's groove-able. The hook is, however, not that addictive. Okay, let's approach an issue I have with the song; where the hell did the auto-tune come from? Seriously, Christina has a voice like no other and it's almost perfect; was the auto-tune really needed? It adds no special quality to the song, in fact, it makes me hate the song. But, what saves it from being a really low score for me is how sexy the song sounds, and those pre-chorus chords. Such a nice lead to a less than addictive hook.
My score: 5.

Wait why did THAT Christina song go out, but Reflection and I Turn to You are still in? It's cause they're singles isn't it?

I really don't know what to say about this song...

I'm really not sure what to say about this song. It sounds like something I could like, but it also sounds whorish. Maybe it's her voice (I told you, Mandy's voice in this album makes me what to claw my ears off...) or maybe it's the simplistic beat or maybe it's the weird lyrics, but there's something I can and can't like in this song. I will say the beginning of the song kinda reminds me of Austin Powers. I guess it's got that going for it...
My score: 6.

"Thinkin' About You" is an acceptable elimination, and "Your Faith in Me" is LONG overdue. But I can't at "I Like It" and especially "When You Put Your Hands On Me" being out so early.

Oh, What you Want was probably the 3rd best on the album.
