Best Performances:
Kelly Clarkson - This bought me back to her Idol days. Her voice was beautiful, and she stepped up from her last few performances. Perfect for Grammys.

U2 & Mary J. Blige - What's to say? two of the most ground breaking artists.. performance a Powerful song... one word. Amazing.

Madonna featuring Gorillaz & D4L - Madonna, looked amazing. I Wish she sang a different song because "Hung Up" we've seen her perform alot. But she still knows how to keep you locked in. Gorillaz interaction with her was cool as well.

Jay-Z,Linkin Park, & Paul McArtney - Paul coming out was a major plus. As it is Jay-Z & Linkin's performance was already great but then when Paul came out it took it too a whole new level.

Worst Performances:
Bruce Springsteen- For knocking our troops with his anti-war-anti-troops song. And bring the fun and entertianing Grammy show down into a slump by despressing us with his boring ass song.

Kanye West & Jamie Foxx - Unoriginal. Marching bands?.. it was good when Gwen Stefani, Destiny's Child, and every Superbowl half time act did it. But not when Kanye & Jamie did it. As it is "GOLDDIGGER" is a few months old and has run it's course they paired it up with a lame old theme. Not one of Kanye's best performances at all.

John Legend - they tried to make him the "BIG NEW THING" for this year in music. But the performance, did nothing for me. I'm not saying he isn't talented.. but the performance was not mind blowing or brilliant.

Sugarland - what didn't go wrong here?.. she blocked her guitarist microphone causing loud interference and sound feed problems. And she walked into zones of the stage which also made her microphone make sharp noises.

Christina Aguilera - great voice, but this song was so dreary and her voice was becoming alittle over bearing after 2 hours and a half of watching this show.

Sly & The Familystone Tribute - horrible. You know how you know you havea horrible tribute?... when FANTASIA is in it, and the man being honored walks off stage in the middle of the performance.. lmao. only plus of this was getting to see Ciara, Maroon 5, & Aerosmith grace the stage.

I was so Surprise most people like Kelly Clarkson performing, Because of YOu. I love the song dearly, but I Just Can't feel it last night. I have it on tape. She seems lost, I guess may be she is too overwhelm the grammy thing.

Over all, most people don't do too good last night. They don't seems connect to their songs. (That's my oppinion).

I'm pretty sure that U2 themselves knew they didn't deserve Album Of The Year, I could tell by their reactions while up on stage accepting it. I kind felt bad for them though, they're great guys.

John Legend is a musical phony. He didn't deserve anything tonight and he sounded like a horse while performing.

Greenday won record of the year and it was WELL DESERVED!!

U2 deserved the award IMO. Now if Mariah won..different story!!!!!!!!!!

John Legend is a GREAT artist and u should be ashamed at calling him a musical phony while the other day saying "Oh" is one of the best r&b songs in a long time.

Mariah- Anyone who thinks that was bad itrs really crazy. she was amaizing!! Standing Ovation

kelly Clarkson- She sounded Beautiful. Im happy she won

Kanye- i have been loosing a lot of respect for him in the last few weeks, but the performace was great THANK GOD he didint win AOTY

Yea she has a song where she talks about her Goodies, LOL. Ashanti is hardly a better artist but her big first single was very grammy/radio friendly, more adult and all that.

John Legend has WAY, WAY more talent than Ciara. "Ordinary People" was one of the best songs of 2005 and talked about somethin other than bumpin and grindin bootylicious ladies...

Ciara can't sing that well and I don't think they have much respect for an artists if they do songs like "Goodies" or "Oh"
