Well, since it's quite obviously unfair to compare first week sales from 2014 to the early 2000s--Britney Jean sold 107,000 copies in the first week. RED sold two copies every second in its release week.

But let me guess, it IS fair to compare Britney's old sales with Taylor's new ones in THIS scenario only, right?
