I can not deal.
Britney NOT RELEVANT since Toxic? Then why My Prerogative and Circus sold more than Loud, TTT and Rated R in each of its run? And Femme Fatale opened with bigger numbers than any Rihanna album (and it was one of her lowest openings)
Beyonce's 4 outsold TTT with no hits, and was booked by the Super Bowl
Lady Gaga's Born This Way outsold every Rihanna album and is on a tour that will gross more than all of Rihanna's tours combined.
SO LETS NOT

Gaga, Brit and Bey all have enormously dedicated fanbases.
Katy, Ke$ha and Rihanna can't really vouch for this.
I've jumped in and out of caring about Katy and Rihanna.
They don't have the same impact as Gaga, Britney or Beyonce. They just do NOT.

Impact according to ATRL? I'm sure if you asked the general public they would think Rihanna & Katy were more iconic than Beyonce or Britney,

Lady Gaga is an icon. She represents LGBT people in the recording business and in Hollywood. Anywhere you go, everyone knows about the meat dress and the other silly costumes. Everyone knows about the 2009 VMA self-hanging.
Beyonce is an icon. She represents Black women in the recording business and in Hollywood. Anywhere you go, everyone knows the black leotard, black heels and robo-glove. Everyone knows the white tank top, red heels and booty shorts. Everyone knows the uh-oh dance. Everyone knows the ring-hand wave.
Beyonce and Lady Gaga remain today's only talented female pop stars and only great performers. **** singels. **** sells. They are the last hope for female Pop. They and Britney will be this generation's only female legends.

As expected ATRL fails to understand the definition of "impact".
Having 10 consecutive hit singles (let alone in the digital era) =/= impact.
How many singles has Rihanna put out in the last 5 years? 30? 40?

Katy, Ke$ha & Rihanna all came after Britney & Beyonce and since they came out into the scene they have been more successful. Your just giving the others all these bonus points because they smashed in the 1990's - early 2000's where CD sales dominated.
So in the era's in which they have actually competed, they have outperformed Tier 1. Bar maybe Gaga.
|
true or not, they do not have the impact tier 1 has

Katy's average single sales in the US are way more impressive + Rihanna doesn't have two 6+ million selling singles like Gaga (I mean, she doesn't even have a solo song cross the 5 million mark yet)

That is not the point. He said rih was untalented. Did I mention gaga? No. Just setting the record straight that rih is talented and actually the current empress of music.

Uhhhh I'd bet everything I own against this.
Not only are Brit and Bey more iconic to the general public, they're more respected.
Most of the public sees Katy as someone for tweens, and Rihanna as a PR nightmare.

Lol. Still clinging to the Madonna comparisons to discredit Gaga?
Let's say she is a Madonna ripoff. How does that make her impact anything less? She still campaigned for gay rights, anti-bullying, and body image and successfully brought even more attention to those problems. She still helped shift the mainstream toward dance music. She still released the only explicitly pro-LGBT single to top the Hot 100 and several other charts. She still pushed many others to perform at their limits and include a sense of "weirdness" or "outlandishness" in their performances. She still brought more interest back to the pop music scene and became the biggest celebrity on the planet. How does this change if she's derivative of someone else? Nothing in pop music is truly original at this point, so even if she were less original, it wouldn't really matter in terms of impact.

People on atrl automatically dislike rih because of her image (damaged by media)

Not at all
GP use Rih and Katy for their hit songs, but that's about it
Beyonce and Britney are the most established and respected acts to the GP, trust me
