I don't get the hate for Demi's "Won't wash my hair" lyric. It's not even bad. It's part of the song not caring for one's self to impress guys. It has a meaning.

Good grief. Just because almost everybody has agreed that the "won't wash my hair" line is horrendous, you have to reiterate and pick a line from Selena? Just no.

When it's a guy she doesn't really care for, she basically treats them like her plaything.

All she's saying is that since she doesn't care about the dude, she doesn't care how she looks, so there's no need to wash her hair. The second part is simply stating that she is going to make him bounce (i.e. leave, get out) like a basketball. The word "bounce" here has a double meaning.

All of this is in contrast with the guy she's singing to, since he makes her want to "paint her nails" and "wear high heels" (and probably wash her hair) because she really likes him. These lyrics are nothing groundbreaking, but they make sense if you use your head and certainly don't qualify for worst lines of the year.

I view it as a metaphor for her crashing and burning mentally, like zero effs are given anymore about her life because he messed with her so thoroughly that it disturbed her state of mind. Still, driven off the bridge would work, but u can still crash into a bridge and not fall off, bear in mind that they supoort hundreds of them

Selena could totally have come up with better lyrics than what we have for that song though, she has given us some real gems in the past, she knows good music...which is why this baffles me.

The 'wash my hair' lyric in Heart Attack ruins it for me sometimes, it's one of those lines that just grates. Even if it had have been 'don't brush my hair' it would have been so much better.
