You couldn't give a damn about her, in my opinion. Do you even remember January 2008 she was strapped in an ambulance? Mind you that was only 8 months before "Womanizer" dropped. Did you "fans" just think, oh she'll go right back to form after all the **** she's been through from 2005-2008? Right back to being happy Britney, right back to tip-top performance level, tip-top work ethic....you'd have to be stupid to think such things.
Do I agree that eventually something needs to be done? YES. I want all the kicks of promotion, interviews, etc. from In The Zone and before. But, that's just it. You're speaking like everything has just been handy dandy since the releases of Blackout and Circus. We won't discuss the first, but the latter is and has always been the rollover era. This era is about regaining that Britney star. On top of that, she's being controlled. She has no control over any of her business/personal affairs. So when she does an interview, of course, people are going to prompt the interviewer and prompt her. Acceptance speeches are told to be kept short and simple. Plus that's Britney's natural nervousness. Show me several extended acceptances from her.
The base is everything is PLANNED this era. It was never going to be like before. I hate that you are judging Britney herself when there are obviously so many things holding back it being a typical era. The time to complain, bitch, and moan about this is if next era it's the same thing. And, yes that's after she hopefully takes some time off. The only thing in your post I somewhat agree with.

I am late for school, so I really don't have the time to spastically response to every post, but since I did get the big picture, let me just say that - Brit has been trough unbelievable things, and came back with a new album only a few months after all the "mess was over". Only that, it wasn't really over. You have to keep in mind that she's still dealing with the some of things she dealt with 2, 3 years ago. This comeback is so well planned since it kind of have to be - she had to play it safe this time to get back the public support, and surprise surprise, she did. You can see she likes this, you can see she's having fun, making music and performing is her therapy. Let her be. Stop analyzing and judging her every move.

As long as she doesn't go back to 2006/07 then I guess she's fine and I cant ask for more.
As for her performances, she needs to find whats missing her --- PASSION and I think everyone can agree with me that she's holding back a piece for herself, which was a good and off thing simultaneously. At least she knows now how to keep some stuffs for herself. Im not , by any inch, complaining though. She'll have my support any day and I will always uphold her in a higher light. She may not be the ideal role model but she's the real deal with regards to the crucible life of fame and public scrutiny. Media viewed her as an abstract notion rather than a real person. Imagine what she has to go through everyday, its not easy and totally not like a dandruff on your shoulder that you can shrug off quickly. The psychological distress and any mental disturbances that haunt her every night is surely a humongous nightmare to bear, constantly. Her volition to continue doing what she loves in the first place is amazing and I truly respect her for all the magnificent and positive changes she has done in her life. Although she is under the cap of conservatorship, the willingness of the subject is the vital ingredient in making a perfect chemistry. Indeed, Britney participated and showed determination in turning her life 180-degrees.
As for the break, is that even possible? With over a hundred of paparazzi's invading your privacy, retorting every movements you make, tainting your every expressions with malice - can anyone handle a hiatus with that situation?
Everyone is on a conspiracy theory when it comes to her and it wont end soon.
However, we, fans around the world can lessen her burden by showing our love and support towards her. This is not the right time to scrutinize about it but we will come to that. Perhaps, this is just beginning. Lets buy some more time. We've come full circle now and a new horizon is on the loom, things are just getting started.

You got it completely backwards, MRDEEDS. Derek is blaming Britney for how mediocre the recent era is. People like him expect for her to just come back, forget about her chaotic personal life, and be in top form like it's 2001 all over again. I'm worried about the person. Can you even ****ing read? Idiot.

LOL, it's exactly the other way around. You.
It's cute how you just jump into any situation where Britney is somehow being questioned as THE star of our days to say you agree 100%. Although I gotta say, it's getting OLD as hell already.
Btw, Rico.

It was thisclose to getting back to the top 3, but GaGa is skyrocketing. So, I'm guessing if '3' is in the 8-12 range by the time the video comes out, it'll be hard to go back top 5, let alone top 3, specially now that Bad Romance is the best POP song by the most relevant artist of this year.
'3' is techincally done.
But HEY, #1 hit!

Louie, don't even try to hide your bitching anymore, we all know how you feel, and we've known for a long time now.
The so-called "best pop song" you mentioned is not skyrocketing though. At all. It just reached #2 and it's been quite a long time since its release, and for an artist like GaGa is nowadays, it should be #1 already.

Done?
14 11 BRITNEY SPEARS 3 5363 4129 1234 37.006
Top 5 on iTunes.
Video still to come.
"3" has held a +1000 or better bullet since 4 weeks ago, and has held it's own against competition of iTunes. All of this is going the way JIVE wanted it. Now when they release the video, guess what? More radio play, more time on iTunes.
"Bad Romance" is not the best pop song this year, let alone a good song at all. And it has taken nearly a day and a half just to reach #2. Hardly 'skyrocketing'.

LMAO. You wish. 'Bad Romance' is not skyrocketing up the iTunes chart. Skyrocketing up the iTunes chart would be going #1 in 14-16 hours like '3'. Bad Romance has been released for over a day an it still ain't #1 (she'll get there in a matter of hours, but this is nothing impressive'). BR is not that big a threat.
'3' ain't done. It could easily get to the top2 on iTunes if a video is released.
