May I just add that to all of you white guys crying "not all of us!!!!" maybe you should spend some time thinking why POC feel that way. It's because a vast majority of their interactions with whites go down like this. How often do you have to experience something before it becomes your picture of the world?

Instead of yelling at POC to stop generalizing, why don't you speak to your fellow whites to treat people with respect? Maybe you'll actually cause some positive change in the world

While racism towards black people and other minorities is an issue, greasy does have a (one) point about the current way we go about it. Saying, wow all white people sure are racist doesn't help. It doesn't open a dialogue, it doesn't give someone who wants to become less of a bigot the opportunity to learn, it's just not helpful. And makes race relations worse and uncomfortable to talk about. MLK said"Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline." Which means taking the higher road.
