Every artist needs to be humbled. At least this song didn't ruin her image.
"Hong Kong dish on alley" (my favorite nickname) was just a snooze fest. The song was ok (but I remember when I first heard it after she hyped it up - I was thinking, "this is it?")
Then the video was the worst part. Sure she looks pretty but it has absolutely no replay value unlike the charming "Roar". An emotional storyline would have helped. I started to feel katy was out of touch. Glad to see this tweet. And glad to see that she and her label are taking cues from the customers. And will probably do so more going forward.
#14 is a good investment for the future.
