I don't mind the list. Except did "Empire State of Mind" come out in 2009? I thought it was 2010. It's like how "Say My Name" appeared on the 90s list.
I do have two shocks though: Pocketful of Sunshine over Unwritten? What? Dumb.
Also surprised that "Not Ready to Make Nice" by Dixie Chicks isn't on there, especially considering it's VH1.
I have to pat myself on the back a little, since my friend and I made a list like this and I'm impressed by how many we guessed right (we didn't do a real order though). We actually chose "I'm Real (Remix)" for J. Lo, "Bootylicious" for DC, and "Run It!" for Chris Brown, despite the fact that a few other songs may have seemed the more obvious choice for those artists. We actually guessed "Whenever, Wherever", "Your Body is a Wonderland", and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" for Shakira, John Mayer, and Green Day respectively though. We also did not take into account that some acts would have more than one song (except for Beyonce/JT being solo and with their groups, and Christina being solo and with Lady Marmalade)
This list is a flop... obviously not formal and not usable for reciepts... bad romance was a 2010 release so it doesn't even deserve to be on this list... and tik tok made an impact in 2010.... Not to mention the flop that is the top 10... Umbrella should be higher... and definitely some song should be lower.... I would say which, but I don't want the pressed and delusional to come at me... overall not a list to brag about
