Side To Side me gusta mucho! Ariana se ve increíble en el video musical aunque siento que la Minaj no aporta nada
Slumber Party no se... no termina de gustarme
Slumber Party I prefer the original but it's great with Tinashe as well
Actually it's the complete opposite for me.

Yeah... that's not true, really.

Crisis is one of the worst songs on Hopelessness. Still a good one, though. Glad We Found It, AS Crust, Beautiful People and Lite Spots
Crisis is actually one of my faves lmao.

Eh, hay algunos temas buenos, pero tuvo mejores momentos. Y que bien que te haya gustado ANOHNI

I know I have been MIA for about 2 days. Sorry! My Internet has been acting like **** for the past week and I've tried to do my best to keep it up to date. But don't worry, a big update will come later today! I promise! And I will also comment back on y'all.
Amazing. Iconic. Legendary. But for real though, the raunchy bop that A****** B**** always wanted to make but never could.
“Dick fatter than Peter Griffin, and a head bigger than Stewie.”
Queen of making me enjoy a F*mily G*y reference.
Genre: Digital Hardcore, Noise Rock, Industrial Hip Hop
I’m going to be honest with y’all – I generally do not enjoy when Death Grips make Rock music. ‘Jenny Death’ was fine and all (“On GP” – just, damn) but I usually think that it’s kinda basic that they’re turning to that. This song, however, is as punk as they can get which is kinda awesome. Also Clementine from Cherry Glazerr isn’t credited on this for some reason but she’s the one that… isn’t screaming.
Genre: Synthpop, Art Pop, Electropop
I still believe that Matty bro is a pretentious headass, but! If they make more songs like this (and “The Sound”, and “Lostmyhead”, and “I like it when…”) then I will truly see what other people see in this band, because this is a gorgeous post-CRJ indie-synthpop track. They are heading on the right direction, I think.
Genre: Contemporary R&B, Pop Reggae, Dancehall
This is one of the worst tracks on ‘Lemonade’ actually. But even then it’s a good post-breakup bop, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ sample is nice and look! It even made me find something in which Father John Misty was involved not completely boring!
Genre: Synthpop, Indietronica, Art Pop
The first thing that came to my mind was that this sounded like an Icelandic version of Broods. Except that, you know, these people actually made interesting music – even though this song isn’t representative of their overall sound, it’s a sweet, upbeat song.
Genre: Dance-Pop, Future House, Tropical House
It is truly one of the most generic tracks either Calvin Harris or Rihanna were involved in to be honest. And it is nowhere near close “We Found Love”, but damn it if this isn’t a banger! This is super catchy and she looks great in the music video too. I just wish Calvin did more interesting things with his production.
Genre: Ambient, Glitch, Drone
This track is the closer on Tim Hecker’s latest album, ‘Love Streams’, and it sounds dark as ****. He does use the more electronic (and vocal) sounds found on the rest of his record, but they are slower, less melodic and more abrasive. Wouldn’t recommend listening to at night with the lights off.
Genre: Electropop, Synthpop, Dancehall
The first time I heard this song I truly hated it. :/ But just like most of ‘Art Angels’, with repeated listens I learnt to love it. Now I do think it’s the second worst on that record (title track is still super bad) – but the “Pon De Replay” sample is super fun and the video is adorable too.
Genre: Grime, UK Hip Hop, Trap Rap
Insane, innit? Love the QOTSA sample and Skepta is a great grime MC, I wish I had paid more attention to ‘Konnichiwa’ but this single is excellent.
Genre: Electropop, Contemporary R&B, Tropical House
I still find it funny how AlunaGeorge tried to sold out but their latest album did way worse than their debut one. (and rightfully so because it was kinda mediocre). But I’m sad this song didn’t get to break the mainstream, because it’s one of their best pop songs. Aluna kills it with the lyrics, Leikeli and Dreezy deliver great verses and they made one of the most aesthetically pleasing videos of the year. Talent doesn’t always win I guess!
Genre: Dance-Pop, Future House, Alternative R&B
Every year there are a couple of commercial EDM tracks that manage to get my love – this is one of them. I knew Tinashe worked great as a house vocalist (check her Jacques Greene collab for further proof), but this song took it a whole new level. Her vocals sound a bit weird against the instrumental but that’s probably my only complaint because this song is that bop.
Genre: Alternative R&B, Electropop, Synthpop
For some reason I didn’t like ‘Starboy’ as much as I expected it to – it’s a good album and it’s his best since the mixtapes, but it was about 7 tracks too long. Still though, while this song doesn’t reach the high heights of “Can’t Feel My Face”, it’s a good synthwave-R&B track with a great production (but I mean, it’s Daft Punk what else can you expect?)
Genre: Synthpop, Alternative Dance, New Wave
‘Chaosmosis’ or whatever was their album made was kinda boring compared to some of their best material, but this song managed to stick with me, and not just because I’m hopelessly expecting for full-time model and part-time singer-songwriter Sky Ferreira to release ‘Masochism’, but also because it’s a great new wave song!
Genre: Alternative R&B, Electropop, Glitch Pop
Kelela gone funky pop. Jai Paul escaping from his lo-fi-ness. It sounds like a combination between both. What’s not to love about this?
Genre: Drone, Progressive Electronic, Noise
I’m still pissed felicita didn’t include this song on his second EP, ‘A New Family’. I don’t know if it would’ve fit with the whole sound of it, but it’s one of his best songs without a doubt. If SOPHIE’s “L.O.V.E.” is “Bubblegum Merzbow”, this would be Bubblegum Yellow Swans or Tim Hecker.
Genre: IDM, UK Bass, Footwork
This track sounds like a combination of ‘R Plus Seven’-era Oneohtrix (or maybe even ‘Far Side Virtual’-era James Ferraro) with footwork and 90’s IDM. What I’m trying to say is that I’m lowkey meant to love this. Video is kinda lame but we’ll ignore that for the moment.
Genre: Dance-Pop, Nu-Disco, Pop Soul
The original version is one of my least favorite moments on the record, but this version just focuses on the more disco/house elements of the songs and convinces me of the fact that Holly could be great vocalist for more conventional dance music.
Genre: Electropop, Dance-Pop, House
‘Lady Wood’ was lame! And maybe this song is too, but the hook is just too repetitive to stay out of your head. Also the beat is sick and it’s kind of a reductive version of something from ‘Blackout’, and I’m down with that to be honest.
Genre: Noise, Industrial Hip Hop, Experimental Hip Hop
Oh, so you thought that now that Daveed Diggs is kind of a star since he was on Hamilton and everything, his music with clipping. would sound more accessible and commercial? Hahahahahha, no, this is the noisiest they’ve been since ‘Midcity’ I think.
Genre: Trap, Trap Rap, Pop Rap
…Why is this better than about half of ‘AIM’? But for real, the production here is super sick (00’s-era Timbaland teas), G-Dragon actually delivers a very pleasant verse and M.I.A. gives us some of her best lines in a while (“My bed is like a lotus and I wake up on it blessed”, like, yas queen!)
Interesting Cupcakke pick! Are we gonna get more of her?
This is my fave set so far! Bop after bop after bop. My mom tried to get into Clipping earlier this year for reasons I don't even know
