I don't know what kind of roles she tries out for BUT I wish she would do an indie movie with a good director behind it. Most of the movies Hilary has done for her indie career have been with people (on the techinal side) who are just starting out in the business or have one-two projects under their belt and they are not used to directing a film well at all. Most of the reviews from What Goes Up thought that the acting was good but the script and the directing were horrible, the same could be said for Stay Cool. Notice the only successful indie movie that Hilary had was War Inc and that's because of John Cusack being so involved with the film making for that movie. It's sad but Hilary needs to pick better scripts because the actors she is working with are really good people.

Nothing really, she's been recording almost all month though. Matt Squire hinted that we could be hearing new material from he this year though.

Anyone else hoping she releases a heater single in the summer, just to show people she's coming back better than ever. Though more importantly to make people aware of the sound she is going in.

Kind of like she did for Play With Fire she released it in August 2006 then Dignity didn't come out until April 2007.

I think this would be a good tactic for he to venture in for the new record.

I think that's an excellent move. This time though I think she should promote the song with talk show appearances, performances, and do a mini radio tour. A heater single at this point is the ONLY thing that makes sense for Hilary to do because I just don't want her to throw a song out there as her first single.
