I fail to see how GaGa has weak sales. She has strong and steady weekly sales. With the radio smash of ESOM though, strong sales aren't enough.

I love how this stupid CaCa stans like to compare her **** to Britney's all the time (watch out Kesha might be coming for the "it" girl next year). Your stupid bitch couldn't get her ass to #1 with a new single that no one knew about it, it had an average fist week and then the second week it plummeted... After your attention-seeking bitch did Gossip Girl, the music video, performed on AMA, Ellen, etc... She got there, it is the reason for her to have good weeks, although not impressive weeks... "3" got zero promotion and was able to open with 254,000 downloads, therefore putting her at #1 with the barely 20 million AI the song had......
Stop talking about a song deserving to be #1, cause a song deserve to be #1 when it has enough points to do so, if it doesn't have enough points, it doesn't deserve to go #1, if not that it's all opinions. PERIOD.

Don't be dull and exaggerate my usage of weak. Clearly it's not selling 200k+ a week like maybe "Boom Boom Pow' did or "4 Minutes" and so forth when they were in the height of success. It's been cracking 180k. It's lack of strong er sales is obviously a factor in it not reaching #1. It has been ahead of "ESOM" by far for weeks digitally, but can't hit #1. Maybe if it's sales would strengthen it would be able to take the #1 considering the last 3 weeks she has literally been points way from #1.
The airplay difference is a part of it, but she's so far ahead digitally it's not really an excuse anymore. As you can see this week she was only 3 points or so behind. If the song showed the sales of it's airplay, it'd be selling at least 20-30k+ better a week.
Now Ke$ha who is advocating a growth sales is going to possibly take that position away from her.

could do you us all a favour and shutup? Such a vile post. If a song is #1 on digital downloads, then it's the most popular song in America. So, yes, Bad Romance deserves the #1. That's not an opinion.
And yes, of course GaGa has to promote, she's only been around for a year! 
Britney's been around for a decade, so she is able to achieve that! Contrary to what many ATRLers think, GaGa doesn't really have that much "hype." Compared to Britney Spears she is relatively unknown.

You sound so ignorant. Britney has had a fan base for 10 years now. You can't compare a 10 year artist to someone who is moving into the 2nd year of their career. EVERYONE was rooting for Britney to get her act together. Myself included.
BUT if she doesnt start dancing and SOON she can give it a rest.
