The first three songs you mentioned ****ing suck. I, admittedly, haven't heard "Whine Up", but I don't have high hopes for it.

Admittedly, when I saw the title in the "Latest Threads" thing, I thought it was going to say "This proves America doesn't give a **** about the temperature in Guatemala." That's the NIN fan in me.

Whine Up is my choice for 2007 Summer Anthem, but I'm afraid that Sean Kingston will probably be given that title since he's *****d on radio so undeservingly.

And that's so weird that all of the summer anthem singers have some kind of ethnic uniqueness. Also, each of the summer anthems were that artist's 1st single.

Anyways, I'm sure Whine Up will peak higher, probably somewhere around 18-21. She just needs to do some more promo in the U.S.

Her first album was ****, "SOS" is just alright, I like "Unfaithful." "Break It Off" is annoying. "Umbrella" is okay, though I like the remix better...same thing with "Shut Up and Drive," just okay.

Basically, her music is not the greatest thing in the world, but it's okay and I don't mind listening to it sometimes And she's hot, so basically the music industry over the last 3 years, for better or for worse, wouldn't be the same without Rihanna.

Oh, and "Good Girl Gone Bad" (the song) is pretty good.

Her first album was a 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. It wasn't complete crap. Her second album better. And her new one, even better.

Sure her music doesn't feel the void of Britney or Beyonce, but her songs are bangin' and she knows what works for her. She has her own style.
