I think if we would analyze everything an artist says, we'd find "shade" in pretty much everything. fan bases are extra focused on Madonna and what she says because they think she shades so much, but she really doesn't. it's just that people focus too much on what she says. more so than other stars, who im sure have shaded others multiple times without it getting any attention.
