If someone doest like hiphop/rap then so what.
I hate country, rock, that heavy medal mess, and most pop.
Every genre has people who love it, and people who dont.

Ke$ha is pop-rap, though more talk-sing than rapping. Flo Rida, Pitbull and will.i.am are good examples of dance-rap / pop-rap / house-rap. Azealia Banks is house-rap too.
More left-field: Linkin Park are my favourite nu-metal band, and they have lots of rapping. Limp Bizkit are nu-metal rap too.
I love grime and old-school garage too. Wiley, Dizzee, Tinie, etc.
So I actually love rap (and black people, before any idiot claims I'm racist, despite being half-Ugandan myself), I just don't like 90% of hip-hop artists and music.

Anyway, I kinda agree with you. House-rap is so much better than plain hip-hop rap.

The funny thing is I primarily listened to rap until I grew up, say around 18-19. I never understood the dislike for it until then, but all at once it hit me like a storm. I guess I reached a certain intellectual point that many (but not all) mainstream rappers are far removed from.
Don't worry sis, I understandT chu, you have a preference of/taste for only female rappers as opposed to the males. The same can be said for pop music.
