Its offensive. Would you laugh at a trans woman who could not afford to have surgery?

Transgender people choose to be a certain gender? I didn't think it was a conscious choice...

Who said it was a trans woman? It is someone wearing female attire with a penis. I swear to God, drag and crossdessers that use it as comedy are gonna be out of jobs with this dumb ****. There is terror attacks all over the world and yall are tripping over a COMIC. It isnt even something actually transphobic, like an ignorant statement. It's a ****ing JOKE COMIC. Get over yourselves PLEASE

If y'all wanna laugh at transphobic jokes and tell everyone else they're just being sensitive, fine. Could you maybe give trans people a hand though since we're killed at a higher rate than the rest of the population and are more likely to commit suicide.
Thanks x

Not you trying to read transphobes and making that ignorant ass statement. Gender is not a choice, trans people don't choose that just like gay people don't. Why the **** would we?

How exactly is this transphobic? It's a joke. If you're gonna take it serious and be all PC about it, it should've been the trans person's responsibility to disclose that they are trans before getting serious with that man. That's just common courtesy. Yall do the absolute most. It's not like the comic ended with him beating her to death or something (which happened in the Philippines recently, but I don't see yall getting all up in arms over that though).

You seem angry.. and It's not a funny joke and it can still be seen as offensive... and I can't do anything about terror attacks.

I think it's saying the woman got a hard on from the ring and the guy is surprised to have it in his face.

I really don't get the outburst. Transphobia is a problem, a big one, but, as I said before, the person in the picture might is supposed to represent an intersxual, not a trans one. Also, this artist's art strikes me as rather tongue-in-cheek-ish, and not as something which content should be taken literally. People who demand art to be politically correct are the death of democracy and public dialogues.
This picture can be interpreted in two different ways, in my opinion. Firstly, the ar**** might be aiming at people's greed in general, and tries to adress the stereotype of women looking for something deeper in life than materialistic things, when actually they are no different from men. Or, and I think that makes more sense, it could be seen as a critique of society's misconseption of love. People always claim they marry out of love to another person, when actually most don't fall in love with their partner, but rather with what they (want to) see in a person. If you truly LOVED a person, why would their sex/gender matter? There's obviously more to relationships than love (sexual preferences, for example), which is okay, but the artist obviously wants to tell people "Stop being hypocritical! If genitals matter so much to you that having a penis/a vagina would change your whole perception of a person and your love to him/her, it probably wasn't LOVE to begin with".
That Calvin was probably just thinking "LOL, this chick's got a dick, DAMN! Poor guy LOOOOL!" when he liked the picture is a different thing to discuss, though, and so are some of the comments in here.

GURL. You can tho.
OT: Why is it that people who get set off by the most innocent and simple of things go like "so aggressive!" "You seem bothered!" whenever they get read? Is it because you don't have a retort? You started it ma

If you saw the other pieces this artist has done, you wouldn't be looking so deep into it. They're just adult humor comic strips But your point about people silencing voices in art that isn't politically correct is very valid.

In general I agree with you tbh but it's not like people can't focus on multiple things at once.
