IMO it's better to have more #1s in a while, that way makes the charts more interesting and it actually means there's more competition.

Why would she need to when all her singles have been going #1 in appropriate order? The one thing you stans complained about "OG" not going #1 for the last 2 months. It only got there because competition got weak as well, even though I like it now and glad it got there finally. "Even if". Who knows? What we know is she has gotten two huge solo singles this year to #1, and a third one on the way. What we know is "Cali Gurls" holds the Pop radio spin record, spent 6 weeks at #1, and has sold 4.1 million copies. (compared to another with similar and barely past 2 million). We know these songs have all had huge longevity. You can't attack her just because her #1 singles are going #1 at the time they were supposed to. That's a stupid and ignorant concept, sorry.

I was not attacking her. Did you read what the other posters was talking about prior my post. They were basically saying that ih's #1s arent not that significant because Drake helped her get WMN to #1 and all of that. My remark about the 2 months thing is indeed notable because with today's radio stations and charts, these singles they come and they go. Just like that. the fact that Rih was able to hold down the top 5 for so long for 2 months while she had another major hit on radio sharing the same format - katy never had that issue as her singles were drawn out. That was the point I was trying to highlight that's significant. Not belittle Katy's singles success.

I don't think its notable in the sense that "WMN?" has Urban/Rhythmic support because of its sound, and Drake does help. My Hip-Hop/R&B station plays the version with him on it 24/7. The Drake-less version plays on the Pop stations I listen to that don't play rap. Anywho, if it were only released to Pop, your stance on how songs come and go would apply to "WMN?" and it wouldn't have gone #1 so quickly if it only had 1 format like "OG" did.
