Britney can't sing (well) live. She tries, but she can't. Rihanna can sing circles around her. I like Britney, but she doesn't even write her songs AT ALL. Katy and Rihanna (co)-wrote almost every song from some of their albums. Britney is an amazing entertainer, but I'm not here for fake voice played on playback. Old Britney is been better than Katy, when I think better, I give you that.

Gaga is a more skilled performer and vocalist, I feel. Adele's voice is much more stunning and powerful, though.
It's hard to compare their lyrics, because they don't serve the same purpose.

There's a reason Adele needed vocal surgery. Yeah, the cigarettes and the smoking contributed but she doesn't (or didn't; she seems to have improved) have a good technique. She used an improper and unhealthy way of singing to get those rasps and cracks in her voice. Gaga also can hit a few notes higher then Adele.. not that it really matters.

Adele is a better vocalist than Gaga.
Gaga does have a good voice though compared to the other pop girls.

Hmm, Adele has a stronger voice, but maybe the correct wording would be to say that Gaga is a more skilled vocalist

Rihanna doesn't co-write ****. Stop. Where are her writing credits in Loud?, TTT?
I guarantee you Britney has written more songs than Rih and they have released almost the same amount of albums

Rihanna wrote her first two albums and (co)-wrote almost every song her Rated R album. She also wrote her parts in Run This Town.  at saying Katy is a much better vocalist than Rihanna. Another at you saying Ke$ha is more talented than Rihanna. This is delusion at it's worst.

Rihanna can't sing "circles" around anyone lol Maybe rhombuses or ovals. From what I've seen on Youtube, Britney had a nice lower register and a nice voice b4 she became robotic and used her "sex kitten purr" voice.

What do you mean by stronger? Gaga has a better belt..
I also meant technically as in the technique of singing.
Adele simply has a very beautiful voice. She has a knack at emotionally connecting to her songs.

I'm talking about old Britney. She could dance better than Rihanna could sing (and I'm not even shading Rihanna - it's just my reply to that) and people she's worked with have said numerous times how she's actually involved in her work, even she has said it, so I don't see how turning on the mic automatically makes you more talented despite how strong or weak your voice can be.

Britney and beyonce have been out for over 10 years scoring #1 albums and #1 hits. Yes they ARE above others, and gaga is extremely talented and has already accomplished so much in 3 years that puts her above the other girls.

Britney has more writing credits than her and has written songs like "Everytime". Rihanna's illiterate ass could never.

She co-wrote a FEW songs and she's listed last on every single damn one of them. Her contributions are minor.
Additionally, yes, Katy is a much stronger vocalist.... She can be pitchy but she has a pretty good melisma.
Ke$ha is a very good songwriter and actually has a strong voice. She has a surprisingly high range. Rihanna is barely better then Ke$ha in terms of singing but her actually writing music makes up for it.
