Nicki has succeeded in doing what she set out to do- create controversy. There is an old show biz saying, " the only bad press is no press". She'll take all of the bad reviews and laugh. She's motivated people to write long articles about her. Free media coverage. She knew she would be in controversial territory like Gaga with the religious themes. Gaga is the number one female music artist in the world now and imitation is expected. Did you check out Katy's Gaga impersonation?

The lyrics to SH are good and clever. The subject matter is not really necessary but there was urgency in releasing those two so I understand.
