Gaga was the pop star who was faded, who would never see relevance again and who was stuck being a tribute artist riding off the coattails of legends because she couldn't find any success on her own. Now that she's proved you all wrong everyone expects her to be back at her peak. Don't hit me with that "y'all can't have it both ways" when y'all have been trying to have it both ways since the first week. Y'all wanna be as extra as your keyboard and your fingers will physically allow you to be but the moment the Monsters wanna make sure everyone knows they were wrong it's "annoying".
And who said "she doesn't need hits"/"doesn't need promo"? We've been complaining since PI dropped that she's basically done a week of promo then went on to be cute with the election, so don't pretend like that's the truth.

All I see is "We can dish it, but we can't take it". Boohoo with this mini dissertation. Take the L and move on.

Why are the coconuts so bothered These numbers are expected imo. It would be worrisome if she had a smash hit all over radio but that's not the case. I think it will have nice stability once the era gets going again

Girl, it doesn't affect me if y'all wanna drag Gaga, I do it all the time myself. Ya'll were in here saying you didn't wanna be petty with the "where are the monsters???" so I came here to let y'all know that we're all in the Joanne album thread because the monsters were never so petty that we were perched for her 4th week sales

Why are Gaga's non fans having more meltdowns than her fans though The whole "Monsters did it first!!1 Monsters started it!!" mentality is so kindergarten. If you really want to stoop to those people's levels, go ahead.

21K is extremely low, especially for 4th week. Oh well, she hasn't done any promo since the first week, and has no hits, so it isn't surprising.

Superbowl this, Cerealbowl that. So, performing in front of 100m people the only way to save this era? I wonder what's going to happen when she release another album without SB.

Are you really that dense? She hasn't done promo in a few weeks. She never even performed the first single on TV. She doesn't currently have a single on the radio. The past week has been nothing but election stuff (also from Gaga's end). If the kind of logic you were using had you expecting big sales, I don't know what to tell you. They know what they're doing, they're saving a lot of this stuff and she has more promo coming up. One of them being huge.

Don't bother. Next week's thread will be full of "Well with all that promo from AMAs, Carpool Karoake, magazine covers, Top 50 on radio, I would expect much more "
