Beyonce's late arrival was planned. It was all a great collaboration with Vouge, Bey and Givenchy.

Givenchy bought a whole table for about 10 people at about 25K for each. One of the people Givenchy took was Bey and made the custom made dress for her and the other guests (Gisele, Rooney Mara and Liv Tyler) All the people in the Givenchy table were dressed in black even though the runway samples of their dresses were in lighter colors so the dresses were made for the occasion.





Beyonce's took 350 hours of maual labor to make and she was the only one from the people Givenchy took to have some color on her dress and modified more than usual (adding the longer train)

The Huffington Post and NYT were hinted that Beyonce was on her way (they tweeted about it) after the stream for the red carpet was over, hence why all the photographers were still there.

Then Beyonce arrived with Andre Leon Talley, he ran up the stairs and let the photographers take her solo pics. Vogue arranged for Beyonce to give one interview in the red carpet, hence why you see Andre waiting next to the E! News reporter and in video him leading her to the reporter.



It was a great opportunity for all. Beyonce's first red carpet appearance after Blue is anticipated like crazy, so Vogue took advantage of that and add more press to the event. She's already on great terms with fashion darlings Givenchy/Riccardo so it would only be fitting they make the dress, and make it sheer so people will get talking about her amazing body after baby and add a longer train to have more impact on photographs.

It wasn't just a Diva/Designer collaboration, they also got the event to participate. The morining after BOOM! You see all the impact her appearance had, The Huffingtion Post, The New York Times, Vogue, MTV, VH1, the Associated Press and virtually ever notable publication had Beyonce on their fron page/cover story.

So while you all try to ponder about Beyonce being late, she wasn't late because she wanted to be a "diva" in the common sense you all use it (taking more time to get ready), it was an arrangement. This is how you truly control the media as a bad bitch but still get the darling recognition.
