It’s about a 16-year-old girl Nanako Misonoo who attends a prestigious academy and deals with life as a high school student via writing letters to her "brother". Anyway nothing different from the same basic and generic plotline from a slice-of-life story. The series spans 39 anime episodes and 3 manga volumes that have never been released in English, ending when Nanako is eighteen.

Based on the book series by Tōru Tsunemitsu, “Ghost Stories” envolves around Satsuki Miyanoshita, who moves with her family to the hometown of her deceased mother. On her first day of school, Satsuki; her brother Keiichirou, a first-grader; their neighbor Hajime Aoyama; Momoko Koigakubo, an older schoolmate; and Leo Kakinoki, a classmate and friend of Hajime's with a penchant for the paranormal visit the abandoned school building adjacent the current school complex and discover that the building is haunted.
It is soon after revealed that Satsuki's mother was responsible for sealing several ghosts who haunted not only the school but also the town, and now they are released due to the urbanization taking place in the surrounding area. Satsuki's mother left behind a book detailing how to exorcise the ghosts once and for all. The anime saw huge success in South America despite never being to see the same level of popularity that achieved there, in Japan. Here’s another funfact about it: An episode titled "Am I Beautiful? Kuchisake-onna" Kuchisake-onna?” – about the ghost of a woman who was brutally murdered by her husband – was canceled after complaints from parents of children with cleft lip and palate disorders;
The next one I was kinda shocked after I saw the scores, considering I have only heard positive things about it, also another thing that surprised me was the number of people that didn't know about it's existence.

A millennium from now, in Japan, exists a utopia. The protagonist, Saki Watanabe, lives in an idyllic village barred from the outside world. Her world is ruled by the people who possess the "gods' power" of psychokinesis. After finally obtaining her own powers, Saki enters the Zenjin Academy to train along with five other children: Satoru Asahina, Maria Akizuki, Mamoru Itou, Shun Aonuma, and Reiko Amano.
Not all is as it seems, however. In this utopian village, strange rumors about a monstrous cat that abducts children circulate, and students are said to disappear from the academy. The world and its history are much darker than they appear and humanity is on the verge of collapsing. it looks like there is Yaoi on this one, which explains why it got any tens. b0ring.

Nichijou follows the everyday lives of various people in the town of Tokisadame, mainly focusing on the energetic Yūko Aioi, the bright and cheerful Mio Naganohara, the quiet and deadpan Mai Minakami, the anxious robot Nano Shinonome, her eight-year-old creator the Professor, and a talking cat named Sakamoto, along with an ensemble cast of characters. Vignettes which are mostly unrelated to the main focus of the series are placed throughout each episode, some of them adapted from Arawi's manga Helvetica Standard. It’s also kind like Family Guy-ish type of comedy for Japan.

Hmmm how do I describe the plot of this one without using Google? Google’s help will not be necessary, because there is barely something going on this show at all. It’s low-key an educational anime about the first and second World Wars with a bit of comedy added on the show’s formula, whose fandom composed 99% of fujoshis took over the anime as food for yaoi fanfics that might have ruined the anime’s original almost non-existent concept.
