And y'all saying "It's about John. Let it go!" As if one of your friends started dating your ex (who was a jerk to you) y'all would 'let it go' and be friendly to them instead of running to the ATRL Blogs to complain about it.

Were you in their relationship ? That's was her version. I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm saying we can't assume anything. Again, like every relationships that she had, she was the good girl, naive and innocent and the guys (or other girls) were the villains. But things aren't that simple unfortunately. It's a lot more complex than that. There's every two sides to every story.
And let's not act like Taylor and John were together for years and were madly in love. That was just a fling that lasted not more than 3 months.
Then, if she was really mad about Katy dating John, then what about her "friends go beyond some failed relationship" kind of thing?

It's so much more important than some guy that it didn't work out with. Now more than ever we need to be good and kind to each other and not judge each other - and just because you have the same taste in men, we don’t hold that against each other.'

And I don't think Katy and her were even that great friends to start with. They were friendly when they saw each other at awards shows. They both had mutual respect as artists as well (they said it in old tweets several times). But that's about it.
Being friendly with each other is different that being friends.
I do believe the thing with the dancers really upset her though. This + the fact Katy and Taylor now play in the same category (so there's an obvious rivality) + Katy and John having a real romance, yeah, there's reason for her to be mad, no one's blaming her for that. But I think releasing "Bad Blood" was enough, now she should just let it go tbh because it's just too much.
Having said that, she was speaking in general here. But no doubt, she had Katy in mind as well
