Blake Shelton "Honey Bee"
Country music is definitely the sweetest. And literally, Honey Bee is the perfect example. I like Blake's style, so easygoing, carefree and charismatic. The music video is kinda cheezy but it has its charm, the girl who plays his love interest is so beautiful.
Taylor Swift "Ours"
Another country song, the first out of five Taylor singles in this cd. This is definitely Taylor's worst single choice to date. I can't believe her label is wasting Enchanted and Haunted but instead they release a freaking boring bonus track... Anyway, it's her best video this era. All I can say.
Yellowcard "Sing For Me"
First out of three Yellowcard singles. When I first listened to their new album this song became my temporary favorite. I don't know why but it burned way too fast. By the time it was released as a single I barely cared about it anymore. Definition of anti-grower.
Michael Bublé "Hollywood"
This song still being here looks weird, even for me. It's so last year. But well, I love the video and the lyrics, very creative. I wish he had released another single but I guess he was already working on his holiday stuff. Looking forward for Mr. Bublé's next album.
Josh Groban "Hidden Away"
Another residual song from last year. I still listen to this one though, I don't know why but I always relate winter time to Josh Groban's music. He's indeed very talented, I love his voice. Thank God he released a video for this single, he normally doesn't do that.
3 Doors Down "Everytime You Go"
I've been slowly getting into 3 Doors Down's sound. This year I dug up a lot of their old material and I loved it. Sadly I didn't find myself loving this single as much as I would expect, and the live video just killed it for me, I mean it was a second single!
Nicola Roberts "Beat Of My Drum"
I've known Girls Aloud music since a very long time. It was sad to hear they split up. If Cheryl did it , and Nadine did it, it was about time Nicola would try. Her debut single turned out to be damn cheezy and silly but insanely catchy, I couldn't help jamming it.
Beyoncé "Countdown"
Beyoncé had a really though year. Her album unexpectedly underperformed and the media was all over her since day one. Fortunately, that didn't stop her from doing her thing. She released like 8 videos in a 3 month span, so this amazing song started growing on me when it was too late.
Daughtry "Renegade"
When I first heard this song I knew Daughtry was officially back. It's so powerful and energetic. I'm still pissed because their label screwed its release, they didn't even bother recording a proper video for it. I love Crawling Back To You but it will always be in the shadow of Renegade.
Shakira "Sale El Sol"
My love-hate relationship with Shakira keeps showing. From time to time she releases an unexpected good single. I was happy and satisfied with this one. But then she released that disgusting ****ty mess Rabiosa and I just looked away.
