She just told you why. People think less of electronic music despite how irrational that is. That is what happened with Adele. That is what it means for her music. Okay?
Ok but Gaga said that as if she produces her own sounds when she doesn't. Acoustic music comes from the soul, especially when done correctly, and most of the time the person singing it has written the song word for word just like she does in her electronic music, I think the comment was a tad disrespectful tbh, especially with the mention of Adele being right behind it.
Fully agree.
Making acoustic music does not just involve slapping some vocals over a guitar chord. It takes way more than that. Look at the fleet foxes. They have many instruments, chords, and harmonies they create and use to ultimately make the finishing product. It takes a lot.
Why? It's a more interesting question/debate than what is being discussed now. Everyone knows electronic music is harder to create than scaled down acoustic music. That's not what should be discussed. What should be discussed is why there are preferences for the authentic and organic and what she feels about that. I would have loved to hear Gaga's thoughts about that.
What Gaga meant is NOT one type of music is better than another. She meant that Electronic artists do NOT get any respect because people call it "Trash".

There's always been a bias against pop (particularly electro-pop), there will always be a bias against pop as long as it's viewed simply as the music that teenage girls listen to.

No one is implying that it doesn't take a lot, it just does not take AS MUCH as electronic music does. It's quite clear.
TL;DR - People try to write off electronic music, all Gaga is doing is defending the genre saying it is extremely difficult to learn and master and that acoustic artists shouldn't just dismiss it because it's not "organic".

That's NOT the point. She is not saying that, nor is she alluding to that.
