20. Krewella f. Gareth Emery - Lights & Thunder - Get Wet


The second of three appearances by Krewella. This song is a bonus track off their album and it's one of my favorite bonus tracks of the year. This song is a bit less party-hard than the majority of the other songs on the album. It feels much more like a song you would get lost in the clouds with. Which I like. The beat takes you to a different world and I feel like I'm on cloud 9 while listening to it. It's just a flawless track. Well done Krewella

19. Havana Brown - No Tomorrow - Flashing Lights


The second of three appearances by Havana. This song is by far Havana's most serious song. The tone of the music is darker than it is in the other songs. But I love it when a dance artist shows their more serious side. It's better than simply singing about partying in every song. The song is still a dance song of course, but it's like a dancepop ballad that works. I just love listening to it.

18. Selena Gomez - Stars Dance - Stars Dance


The third appearance from Selena. This song is sexy and dark. The main thing I love about it. To me, it's one of the standouts on the album. Just very edgy, sexy and everything in between. Should be a single tbh.

17. Little Mix - Turn Your Face - DNA


One of two songs from Little Mix's debut album in this category. This song is just beautiful. Everyone's vocals shine on this track. It just goes to show that the X Factor knew what they were doing when they put them all together. They all have amazing voices on their own, as shown in this track, but in other songs when they all come together, it's pure magic. This song deserved a spot in my Top 20 for sure.

16. Havana Brown - Someone To Love - Flashing Lights


Havana's final entry in this category. In my opinion, it is her best new song aside from Warrior and Ba*Bing. The song's instrumental is just very anthemic from the beginning and the chorus, while repetitive, is catchy and memorable. This song would be a hit in clubs and I love it.

Had to put this as a flashback eventually. My favorite song from Katy, my favorite music video from Katy. It was also released two days before my high school graduation, so we ended our eras together.
