No. Not at all.

I think they won the same amount of Brits? But Duffy won the more important categories, a near sweep. (She won Female, Breakthrough and Album - she only lost Single to Girls Aloud, because Single is fan voted.)

Joss won Urban in 2004, and subsequently forced that particular award to be retired from the Brits nominating rubric.

Same amount of Grammys, but Pop Album >>>>>>>> some R&B Collabo or what the hell ever.

And, Duffy's had a top forty hit. So, that alone elevates her. Plus Rockferry did like eight million worldwide?

I didn't realize Duffy had been so much more successful in the UK. I guess I got caught up in thinking about the U.S., where she made such a minor splash and Natasha Bedingfield ruled for a couple of years as a queen of adult contemporary radio.

A video for My Boy was shot, but never surfaced.

My Boy would have been the only Duffy single to get a ten from me too. I love her when she embraces her rhythmic side.

I can't remember the album at all. Only listened to it once But I just listened to Well, Well, Well for the rate and it's not horrible. Way better than Mercy, yet Mercy is the song everyone in America will remember from her.
