It seems that her music videos were some of the first to take the hit in people getting tired of her image. And quite deservedly, considering BTW had one good video out of four and ARTPOP's videos, while definitely better, were during a less successful era and still not very GP-friendly.

This. She has more impressive streaming milestones than the other girls, esp since her biggest hits were before streaming took off. It's true that she doesn't come up under the "Suggestion" bar often except for Telephone and Alejandro. I think that once she gets another big hit she'll level out with the other girls.

I don't know but personally even though G.U.Y. is the only video from her I don't like, I rarely play her videos on YouTube other than Just Dance. They're long and really not that exciting.

No offense but there's a reason her social media 'receipts' (which are easily faked) are unproportionately high compared to her very low sales (which are very hard to fake). All those fans, followers, views yet none buy her albums? It doesn't line up

Her sales aren't "very low" anymore, she's doing well with PRISM outselling ARTPOP for example though I don't get how Katy is relevant to this thread anyway. And that link does not prove anything. Why wouldn't Katy buy views for Birthday if according to you she buys YT views for her other videos?

Anyway, on to the topic at hand. Gaga's streams aren't bought (anymore). Just like Facebook and the other social media stats, she has less followers/likes/whatever but her activity ratio is much larger that most other girls.

Katy made it incredibly obvious with TIHWD. There's no way in hell a music video has THAT many views and likes and struggles to go gold. (Has it?)

Though Gaga's streams are indeed weak, it's also fully expected since she hasn't had a smash since 2011, her catalog sales and streams are taking a hit. This thread should be closed btw, considering Poker Face for example had way more views, as confirmed by multiple articles.

I'm only using his/her own logic against him. He/she says gaga shouldn't be one of the main pop girls just because her streams aren't up like the rest of them. So I reminded him/her that the rest of the main pop girls have Grammys and Katy doesn't. So he/she got burned with that logic.

I agree that there are many legends without a Grammy and some who got one super late into their career. But to compare Queen with Katy . I wouldn't even compare Gaga with them and she worked/performed with Brian May.

It doesn't work with Grammys....streams, album sales, single sales determine how big an artist is. Grammys are not very important and not what this thread is about
