Okay - I'm over this thread. The people agreeing with this dude haven't given us a single solid point - they have, rather, taken us on a never-ending carousel ride of instances that have nothing to do with the argument at hand.
I'll be back if I see actual receipts. Until then, perhaps you should really consider not biting the hand that feeds you.

And once again his point is proven. SHE IS NOT the only person in the world who speaks out for homosexuals. There is a misconception that she is, which is why his words have a point. And for the record, I dont blame her, I blame people like you.

She aint the first but currently she is the only popstar regularly fighting for us on a daily basis. It's nawt only restricted to gays. She speaks on all types of **** from our ****ed up government to injustice taking places in other countries that she doesn't have to concern herself with.
She aint Tila Tequila, making a gay dating show and claiming she got gay marriage passed in several states. That's the type of bitch y'all need to be "dragging."

She shouldn't expect something back, do you think she does?

Also - one last point that I already made that I want to emphasize.
"BORN THIS WAY" was written in FEBRUARY OF 2010. "FIREWORK" was released with the album in the Summer of 2010. "WE R WHO WE R" was released as a single in October of 2010.
STOP CALLING IT A BANDWAGON MOVE. IT ISN'T.

That goes for bitterness toward her willingness to take on an activist role as well.

Yeah, she didn't, but guess who does............. her fans!

How the **** is Born This Way a dishonest anthem? Gaga never says "I AM A GAY MAN AND I WAS BULLIED AND NOW I'M STANDING UP" she says to people "Be proud of who you are, don't let others take you down for it."
Sorry, but these ****ing pseudo-intellectual haters trying to make songs like Born This Way anything other than a step forward for tolerance need to sit the **** down, I'm done playing nice.
Even when I DESPISED the song Born This Way, I was SO GRATEFUL that for 6 straight weeks a song that included the words "No matter gay straight or bi, lesbian transgendered life, I'm on the right track baby I was born to survive" was #1 in our country. To try to make something so pure and honest and equality minded into something "bad" because you wanna be a cool "rebellious" gay throwing your dumbass shade at the pride parade...I can't. It's dumbasses like that, who won't accept help and acceptance from other people, that set the whole movement back.
****.
that.
****.

I didn't say she is the only one. You're taking words out of context which makes your argument very weak. I said people LIKE her. She is a great example of the many people who are fighting for gay rights right now.

You're so..... there's not even a word
Who said she expects something back? She sure didn't.
Every comment you reply to derails and doesn't even hit the subject at hand.
It's like you're making your argument up as you go along. You don't like Lady Gaga.
Get the **** over it.

She is the only high-profile celebrity who gets attacked for it. Who gets constantly dragged and ridiculed by homophobes as well as for some reason misguided members of the LGBT community for supporting them and yet she just keeps and keeps on pushing those issues. She loses tons of fans for it and yet people accuse her of exploiting us. The bitch would have every right to just call us ungrateful and keep churning out hits like Poker Face and staying relevant while having her publicist send out a one-line statement about how much she "just loves gay people" and not do **** otherwise. Instead she actually gives back to the community after receiving their support.
What other celebrity is half as prevalent in today's pop culture as her and does even an eighth of what she does for homosexuals?

What is wrong with agreeing with him on some things? He said a lot of dumb things, but he also made some valid points in that it is NOT about Lady Gaga and since Lady Gaga is the biggest gay community supporter in present-day pop culture, it is being made out to be.

...So what?
Fans say dumb **** about their faves all the time, who gives a ****?
If we went purely by fans, every single artist in the world would be a legend. And also the worst artist ever.

What has she actually done for the community that is even damn near comparable to what Gaga has done?

She does what she can, it's not like her and Gaga are given the same platform, but that's a whole new argument.

Exactly, and dead at nawt even replying to the valid points made. Gaga's fans are the one to blame yet most of their posts in here are directed at Gaga just like that queen's entire rant was directed at her.

You shouldn't say that something Gaga stans may believe equates to Gaga herself.
