It was 5 days ago I believe someone asked him about 25 and that was his answer. Soundscan receives title registrations for albums etc so his work with Soundscan would give him that information.

The tweet afterwards is definitely referring to Adele, Emeli (and maybe Susan?).

This tweet seems like speculation and the one from today seems more like confirmation.

She already confirmed the album for later this year. It's going to be another packed release period though. Hopefully she promotes.

edit: Emeli won't be much of a threat (expecting her second album not to do that well), Susan definitely isn't, Rihanna isn't in the albums department, Adele will outdo Taylor (especially WW) and 1D, Take That aren't her base so she'll be fine there.

Sade will do well but she's not popular enough to hurt Adele.

I just hope if it's a fourth quarter release, it gets release as soon as possible. I read that fourth quarter releases are between September and December, and I'm hoping it's released in September or October so we aren't as thirsty and so it meets the deadline for the Grammys. Hopefully at least the lead single will meet the deadline.

Here is my thought process. If Ryan was being honest and they were going back in the studio, then for Moss to know she's releasing Q4, her and RT finished in the studio, the album was done, and then registered in five days... If following Moss's timeline of info. Is that possible?

I don't think that's possible. And judging by his 2015 comment, he was basing it off of assumptions because he flat out said 25 had yet to be officially confirmed. Emeli, Rihanna, and whoever the third artist was that he mentioned (I forgot) all have albums confirmed to be released this year. I think the 2015 was an assumption, but Adele's Tweet was an obvious reference to the album, so it's coming this year. I'm sure of it.

Adele is THE biggest selling UK female artist in recent years. Obviously he meant her and Emeli (and I'm guessing Susan Boyle for the third since he already confirmed an album for her awhile ago).
