Her hair looks... eh. Can see where she was going with it, but executed it horribly. The dress could do without the bow or whatever is going on in the back.
And if you're fooling yourself into liking that snippet, you clearly started stanning post-Bangerz and are seeking for any validation to seem like a, 'real stan, I'm in it for the long haul, baby.'  Anyways, that quote Wildcat posted gives me hope. RCA is at least aware and reminding her to keep her music listenable.

this is so gross of you pika, i'm sorry but it is. i know we don't stan for an activist but miley using her platform to speak out is great. idk why you guys just think she's some kind've slave to y'all and she has to be this generic pop princess who drops generic pop songs so you guys can live out ur dreams of throwing stats to selena, demi and ariana stans  i rather miley be genuine than be a generic pop star which i feel like a lot of you guys want her to be..
i loved miley's look at the gala tonight and i'm extremely proud of her and for bringing ty and all the efforts she's doing right now. she's definitely inspiring and has totally made me see so many things differently, and i get why she's the way that she is and it's totally needed right now. miley speaking out will definitely bring young awareness to these things and help the next generation be more accepting and it's already happening. so many people are praising miley and i've seen a lot of people say "i may not agree with what she's done but.." and praise her.
as far as the music goes for her album, i'm anxious but nervous only cuz of that bjork quote that she made lol. but something tells me we won't get let down and she'll put all that psychedelic flanger stuff on her ep with wayne. although i wouldnt mind some of it on her album, i definitely dont want her flopping lol
i do wish she worked with other people for this record but i have faith in mike will to give us another dope ass album
i just think as her fans you guys should lay off. miley's doing things her way and i rather that than the label control her and just have everything safe. it's as if you guys want her to be exactly what she doesn't want and idk why there's such an obsession with her growing her hair, or making pop radio music and etc. let miley grow!

well i'm definitely not a blind stan. at all. i have a more personal connection to miley because her whole stance on things and her attitude def has helped me (as corny as it sounds) be more confident in myself and love myself ten times more.
and i'll tell you why miley started in 2015. im sure in 2013 she wasnt aware or anything because her main focus was bangerz and etc, and im almost positive after the tour started and floyd died and etc. she probably started to question if all the twerking and etc was worth it because i know she even did a few speeches on tour saying she's not 'all about twerking' and etc and wants to be 'more than a stripper' and so i think she wanted to actually do something rather than just be a freakshow.
i dont think she's "hopping" on the bandwagon because if she was she wouldnt make this much of an effort to help the community and its kinda sad pika that ur saying she's 'using' them or whatever. transwomen were murdered in 2013, they've been murdered for years lol but at least miley's helping now period. i get your whole gripe about it but im not being blind at all because i actually love what she's doing and she's really making herself a name in the lgbtq community which will take her a long way because before this she probably didnt have a core fanbase to pander to

I understand what you're saying but it kinda looks like she only took interest once Caitlyn Jenner garnered a ton of attention for sharing her transition. Especially with coming out as genderqueer and bisexual.. it all seems like she is hopping on the bandwagon But I regress she is doing a lot of good work with her charity and for the community.
Now what I really care about is the music. If she would stop hanging out with Wayne and Katy I would be more than happy. Posting ugly pics and then complaining about likes because of the hippie trip they've sent her on. I am not here for snippets Wayne posted. She is a popstar first and foremost. She should cater to her fans she knows we don't like him.

Umm Demi and Selena are no longer on disney and they aren't posting pics of armpit hairs and posing mid-seizure but I forget they aren't doing anything GROUNDBREAKING for the sake of "breaking society's norms of beauty."

Of course we could unstan. But we don't because we're all aware this is a phase that will eventually pass. But it's lasted longer than practically all her other phases, and it just so happens to be her most annoying one. It's good for you that this glitter wig wearing, lsd sniffing, bacteria filled tongue Miley has helped you (in ways I don't even want to know). However, the truth of the matter is, the 'powerful ICON using her PLATFORM for the greater good' only got to that platform because of the hits and appeal she had before. She needs hits and success to keep what you want going.
She's still lasting off of what Bangerz accomplished, but that won't last forever. All the 'praise' she's getting will disappear in the blink of an eye if she begins to falter in her career. And to sustain that career means she has to conform to society norms, beauty standards and more. As long as the music is good and she's growing musically i don't care what phase she's in
Bangerz did a lot of bad but also a lot of good for her (she had the biggests hits of her career worldwide + first Grammy nominations + VMA video of the year)
I trust her for what's coming next
