True, In her Disney days I liked that she was risky and stood out from the rest of the good girls. But now she's just really weird..... Which I understood last era because she was breaking away from the Disney image but now its just way beyond

The reality is, Cyrus was never a demon, and she's not a saint now. She's both extremely articulate and gloriously messy. She's neither a paradox nor an inconsistency. Cyrus defies categorization, like everyone does to some degree, and that's perfectly okay. The sooner we can collectively accept that, the easier it will be to "get" what Cyrus is doing.

One hit album and tour later, Cyrus' stardom is secure, she's doing what she wants personally (and musically), and no longer needs gimmickry to draw attention to her music. Instead, she's using her music, body and being to draw attention to the issues that mean something to her.

She's more than one three-word phrase, and that's all she wants to be. She's not being who you, I or anyone wants her to be. She's just being Miley. (YAAAAATH @ the "See Yahveh Again" reference).

Same. However, there used to be a reasonable amount of Miley stans on here. I feel like most of them are just being petty and giving her the cold shoulder ever since the Wayne Coyne era but who knows. I mean...even though Miley's like a glorified Instagram model as of lately, she DID give us an entire acoustic album the past month (for free!) and even a couple of snippets yet no one really gave a **** .

I know that SwifTRL is kinda boring these days but the fact that the Hilary Duff base (fun fact: her last album was released the same year Miley debuted !) has more views and comments...tragiqué . I've been doing the most to keep this thread alive but oh well ./endrant

Ughhh, tell me about it All of her albums (except Can't Be Tamed ) would've been 2x platinum with 3-4 singles .

Two of her Hollywood Records albums are stuck at 1.6M (!) each with only one top 10 single, a mess. And "Bangerz" obviously deserved a Teenage Dream sized era with 8 singles .

Interesting. Assuming this account isn't lying (they probably are, but let's just go with it), then either Miley is releasing soon and Nightmare actually stayed with her for M5, or Katy took it and she's releasing soon. Hoping for the first part, but Miley has still showed no interest for a new era. She's still hung up on the Happy Hippy thing so, eh.
