The only reason I don't want Nicki to do afrobeat/dancehall music is because based on previous songs that we have by Nicki that are similar to afrobeat/dancehall, those types of songs are not good. Trini Dem Girls & Gun Shot are trash.

I was so mad when Nicki revealed The Pinkprint cover and all it was was a basic ass fingerprint I was expecting Nicki to serve a LOOK on the cover considering how much she slayed fashion-wise in 2014. What made the cover more disappointing for me was how she hyped the cover in that Wiz Khalifa verse as if it was going to be the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Some of y'all really lack critical thinking skills and it's crazy.
If a dancehall song is done by a dancehall producer, it's probably going to be great. If a dancehall song is produced by Dr. Luke, it's probably going to be watered down. That's common sense.
