She doesn't need to promote on award shows though especially when she's still on a worldwide tour. By performing her songs on tour, the album will be fine. I think Bey and Jay are a bit fed up of this industry and its politics. They dont seem to care about award shows, television anymore. Maybe it's just a phase and it will pass, that happens a lot to artists who have been in the industry for more than a decade that have seen so many changes, they become numb or maybe they are way too focused on their personal matters and dont give a damn about putting effort in their work because beside their tours, they just dont try to connect with their fans anymore.

I don't know if I'm the only one that's been thinking this, but I've gotten the feeling that this will be her last real album, at least for a while. She's in this really weird space where she's being apotheosized from a regular musical artist to a legend. She's pretty much seen and done it all. What that means for this era, I'm not sure.

I honestly see her getting pregnant again within the next year or two (after the MCSWT is really done), and putting music on the back burner.

I see them still coming to important award show like the Grammys, but not so much MTV awards or Billboard etc. You don't think they try to connect with fans any more? That's not the vibes I'm getting from them. Bey probably doesn't want to promote right now, she's been on tour for so long and is just getting a break she needs. Hopefully next month or soon she will start promoting XO and DIL.
