So, I guess we can look forward to more Backyard Sessions (I really think they should capitalize on the Ariana / Joan Jett hype and put it on Itunes, though. The profits could go very well to the Happy Hippie Foundation - adding the 2012 sessions, you get a solid album), a new EP with The Flaming Lips, "Gummy" with Rae Sremmurd, the rumored cameo on that George Clooney movie (?) and obviously, the anticipated fifth studio album produced by Mike Will. Excitin' stuff, y'all!.

There is no official word on a new album, just Mike WiLL randomly trying to get hype and retweets. Nothing outside of his 'Bruh, this sh** be on somethin' bruh, album of the year about to drop n*gga, be prepared' has there been talk of a new era. Not from RCA, not from Miley, not even from other producers which I doubt she's even talked to at this point.

Backyard Sessions are so boringgg. Especially since Bruce Jenner has sent her into psychotically wanting to be some social changing spokesperson. There's been nothing but dust to talk about and it'll stay that way till 2016 when she hopefully grows out hair and releases.

I really hope she doesn't think she is better than these mainstream artists and becomes some sort of full-time philanthropist. It's good for transitioning in between her eras but she is just so impressionable which isn't a bad thing but she starts to look and sound like everybody she surrounds herself with every few years. She's not her own person yet. It can be annoying.

I think she falls in and out of really wanting to continue in pop music which is not good for us fans. The fact that she was willing to throw it all away when she was engaged at 19 She will be shook when Ariana snatches her bald and comes for her record sales. Only then will she have the drive to retaliate! Kinda like how Selena was coming for her pre-bangerz.

She's never been competitive in a 'I want to beat ___' way, but more of seeing how far she can take her own popularity. So essentially competing with herself. A ton of stars could rise above her (and have before), but she never showed any signs of really caring. Also the driving force of her persona during Bangerz (May-December) was the break-up or soon-to-be-breakup with Liam. She was clearly frustrated with how things were going in the relationship and channeled it all by focusing on her career. The success in a way distracted her.

Once Liam was gone, there was no point to keep focus on it any longer and she went into other things that interested her. So unless there's another unforeseen factor that'll motivate her, it's gonna be hippie-covers and Mike WiLL talking about whatever it is he's talking about for now.

I do agree with you on the competing with herself bit. But she has to put these bruce jenner, wayne coyne, floyd, hippie psychedelic instagram posts, etc. obsessions to rest and focus on her career. And she needs to explore new sounds with her music and stop all this one dimensional mike will productions. I swear her obsessive compulsive disorder should be dealt with.

Anyways, she just broke up with patrick so I guess we're getting Wrecking Ball 2.0 because he cheated on her. Hmm what a recurring cycle in her love life. Maybe she should stop looking like trash all the time and making herself look uglier than she is, just to partake in the wannabe tumblr "looks don't define you" ~social movement~ so guys don't run after someone better
