LMFAO make great music for their genre. Let's not.
Also...
Let's Praise Interscope getting those promo spots for the labelmates. They always do the most.
Also, let's be real here...MTN
has risen very well with
every promo that it's been given. The only thing is that the rise in iTunes never really resulted in an increase (similarly to the iTunes rise) in
airplay. If the airplay begins to correlate with the rise after the promo, MTN might not be dead yet.
MTN is still getting solid HAC/Rhythmic support considering how few stations have added it. Therefore, it cannot be entirely dismissed. You would have thought for such a flop, the song would have already disappeared on Rhythmic, but it's still gaining spins, and sits at #46 (TEOG only made it to the 30's I think, at best). HAC has it in the top 40 (almost in the top 30, sits at #31). AC is done with Christmas; so, I think after New Years, we can expect airplay from them too. So, if the POP airplay begins to correlate with MTN's itunes position POST New Years Eve, it can still stand a shot to get a better peak, and become a top 10 pop airplay hit.
Let's be hopeful girls.
