I actually kind of really like Ride, but it's Lana and relies on the same Hipster image as every other video of hers. People praise her, but she keeps doing the same thing over and over again. All of her music and videos central around one theme and that just doesn't cut it for me because I'm not a one-thing kind of person. People are already pitting her up against Gaga and I'm just like... Gaga and Lana aren't even in the same realm. Lana can't touch Gaga and she will never touch Gaga because she appeals to that very niche, young, hipster demographic that will like one thing one day and another thing the next. The moment Lana becomes "too popular", they'll find someone else.
Sorry I'm rambling, it just doesn't make sense that people are comparing them in an attempt to put Gaga down. Like, step off the soap box and the bandwagon and have a seat.
We all know what she is capable of.
