It's #25 already. It should be top 10 soon.

oh my.
Hmm, I wonder how 1D fans feel about this in general.
I made a poll in September about how
"these are the 6 gurls with at least 3 T10s, including a #2 this decade, but no #1:
Ariana Grande
Sam Smith
Nicki Minaj
One Direction
OneRepublic
Fetty Wap."
[+Ed Sheeran since then.]
Now at least a member/component of one of them is likely to be on top...

22 ZAYN Pillowtalk (the living room session)
Seems like it will at least get to #7. Perhaps #2.
#1 is a stretch I would think.

Drake is crumbling so anything could happen.

As a fan, I am still happy for Zayn, I will just hate the future comments saying "Zayn's first single outside of 1D went number 1 because 1D was holding him back" which I dont believe is true

I mean, I'm pretty sure it's a timing issue and if in a theoretical world Drag Me Down was released this week with the video instead it would be going #1.
And I assume the vast majority of the consumers this week also consumed Drag Me Down its first week.
Pillowtalk should at least be #1 combined soon-ish on iTunes.

I wonder how the new version will effect the main version

Zayn really wants that #1 debut. It screams desperation.

Wow if Zayn debuts #1 on H100, when One Direction never did after all those tries ever get a #1.
I want it to debut #2. I honestly think it'll be like a 1D single -- high debut, falls down the chart, GP isn't really aware of it, ends up being a moderate sized hit in reality. Can't stand when a song goes #1 and ends up not feeling like a #1 hit at all, it ruins the flow of the chart. Like when "Best Song Ever" almost went #1 against "Blurred Lines", that would've just been an atrocity if that song had being a #1 hit to it's name.

Yeah, like when Can't Feel My Face peaked at 161k and had no other weeks at 150k+.
And it peaked at #4 on streaming, so one can't use that excuse either.

I don't even like Zayn's song tbh. I just don't find him likable period.

Yeah I don't like the song and he comes off as annoying, but if the song debuts at #1 and actually becomes huge overall and does good in the longrun he proved me wrong and it deserved #1. Otherwise nah.

Light red for the one at #2 and dark green for the one at #84
Doesn't matter though. Those 20k additional sales from the remix are huge.
